i havent the space to isolate a male.
Flower some plants from seed when they are small and as soon as they show sex put males outside and when they are about to pop take a cutting of your keeper and put in a glass of water in the kitchen window sill then when you see they start dropping pollen, shake it over a plate or piece of glass, scrape it and let it dry for a couple days. Can then use it straight away or freeze it.

Replying to ur edit.
Yep. Know a couple people with Hemp growing licences and one person with a medical CBD growing licence.
Yeah, I’m not sure many understand all the hoops you’ve got to jump through, the cost, and financial reserves required.
I’ve done a heap of courses in readiness, like GMP, QC, compliance and even got certificates from online UNI in the US..well CTU if you want to call that a UNI  , but it was still a good course to do, other than all the US legal stuff.
Done courses with companies here too that consult to the industry, and assist in getting licenses. Got a mate working in a big facility in the US, and he works as a consultant to other facilities also. Also have contacts with licensed facilities here in AUS. My problem is that it’d be hard leaving an industry I’ve worked in for over 30 years to go do it...and get paid heaps less. Yeah: I did edit out how many years I’ve been growing ;)

@weed-whacker , would have a fair idea since he’s worked in the US.

Give it a go. I am a simple man but for me S1 -> S2 etc pretty much F1 -> F2 etc but with a narrower lineage. I have not notice any difference in rates of herms but all anecdotal and small scale. I love regs personally and the chance to find a unique male.

Will make fems
Will do m8, I’m a simple man too and hands on.

Anyone grown Chernobyl by Subcool I’m thinking of popping some regs to see what I get. Also out of respect for the man tbh don’t know much about him mainly read his organic stuff so much in there. Anyways RIP Subcool and hopefully I get a winning pheno.

M8, if you got the real deal treat that like gold. I’d doubt the original from Thailand still exists. There’s a heap of different stories around about MM, some close to truth, others utter BS.
If it’s the real deal, someone’s kept that going for a long time. However I don’t think it’d be the real deal that I remember from growers in the 70’s just West of Mullum town centre.
My recollection, and from what my Dad (RIP) used to say was it was just a really fantastic and stronger than most had tried up to then Thai / Laos landrace strain that they grew in the area and hence the MM name.
Stuff grew huge trees....I mean huge! And it was the most up and euphoric stone, mind blowing!
That's kind of why I didn't want them to germinate just yet... I can't have giants. The most I could do is train it to be a branchy midget and hope for the best.

We have had this convo before eh old m8?

For anyone else who isnt familler with MM and Kanga https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=175243. MM seems to be a few different strains brought back from the Vietnam vets intermarried with each other.

My dad used to live at North Arm, No running water but a creek down the back. I dont know the area much at all. Still have an uncle thereabouts.
