Jack Daniels and shake tincture

Made tincture for the first time with jd, been sat for 6 week,shaking everyday... cheese clothed it and now I’m left with this? Looks milky. Does this look right or wrong? Answers below p.s taste like teabag

The milk is what happens when you mix water, ethanol, and monoterpenes.

The taste will be greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen.

Its not spoiled, its just because the water content of the jb is something like 60% and all the goodies from weed dont disolve in water but do in alcohol.. if you use pure grain liquor to make tincture and then mix it with water or juice the same thing happens

I did this a few years ago with makers mark since it was slightly higher proof. Bacardi 151 would work real well for this. Obviously grain alcohol or everclear works best but is very hard to drink.

The makers mark I made was awesome. I only let it sit for about a week or 2. When I poured it over ice it clouded up from the oils hitting the water. Mixed a little lemonade and it was such a good summer drink. It totally had a dank cannabis taste mixed in and definitely was effective at getting you high along with buzzed!

Idk if you decarbed the weed first but it doesnt work well unless you did. I heat the weed on 200 in electic skillet for 45 min stirring every 10 min.. Id just mix it with some coke to make it more drinkable and test her out.. Might wanna start off with a little, the stuff i have, one shot gets you high and floating on a cloud, 2 shots and ill be hiding under the bed for a few hours hahaa

Pmsl!! Yes I decarbed first-I basically googled easy way to make tincture and followed a fool proof method) I’m just gonna try a syringe at a time see how I get on, hopefully happy medium between the clouds and under beds haha

Never tried making it before so was just winging it really but like you say Bacardi and everclear would have been best- everclear Was definitely top runner coming up online to use) but I was just to inpatient and used whatever I could get my hands on ha... Your drink sounds very appealing lol I’m actually gagging at the idea of drinking mine haha

I use Everclear tincture as a vodka substitute in my own concoction, the Velvet Sledghammer:

Half a pint glass of ice and milk
Kahlua White Russian premix cocktail
Kahlua
Salted Caramel Baileys
Amaretto DiSarrono
Butterscotch schnapps

add one eye dropper of tincture, stir, and sit yr ass down for a while.
