Then I watched a gecko stalk and eat a huntsman. Was quite the battle once the gecko went in for the body and the spider wrapped its legs around it. I missed the good bits with my camera tho View attachment 4482834
Thats cool as, reminds me wen i had young stump tail blue tounge caught a big huntsman an dropped it in with him an it chased it up to the front of his tank went in for the the kill an the spider had all the legs wrapped around its head. Haha yeah it was pretty full on to watch when the legs wrapped around. Those geckos must have strong little jaws tho cos a few more bites down and half the spiders body dropped off lol.

To be fair im not the one to ask about it but i think it is not recommended because of higher risk of harmonic distortion the longer the cable is. That said i doubt companies would be putting them out id thwy didnt work and ypu have one and it works so not recommended and cant be done are two very different things.

I do shit all the time that is not recommended lol

But either way it most definitely would require a significant upgrade to the wiring which im not going to bother with
fair enough. mine came standed with a remote cable (it is thick) and can also be used like yours.

Same, i just changed from MH & HPS to LED. HPS was easy as you’d get way more heat and that was easy to determine if lights to close. LED not so much heat, and the intensity of the 550 caught me when I first upped the C02 and started pushing it after bud set. Lucky I got the old “praying leaves” as an early sign, so out with the PAR meter and sure enough just over 1200 PPFD. Backed it off to just under 1000 and all good.
What co2 ppm do you find works best for you in early to mid flower ozy? Do you reduce the ppms in late flower? What temps did you try to run when you were using hids?

Around 1200 ppm target, I always get a bit of overshoot up to 1400ish, and then re gas at -100 ppm below 1200. So real world it swings between 1100 & 1400ish. And I do an air exchange every 2 hours lights on.
Was and am running at 28C with a .5ish swing each way. RH swings 65-70ish%.
Yeah mate, about 10 days out I start drop temps, ppm and RH, and also lower lights off temps and RH over lights on.

Sound like a good time.
Nimbin gets crazy. I used to live way to close to it for comfort. Uki.

Will be going off 1st-3rd May this year. :leaf:
Mardi Grass is pretty dead these days, the cops have seen to that. Even 5 years ago it was awesome with everyone smoking in the street, but the cops arrested all the lane boys and put road blocks on every road in and out of Nimbin, stop and search every van, drug tests, breath tests, last year there were as many cops as punters.

Most people I know stay away now and just lay low til its over, even going to the seed swap is hectic cops everywhere.

That’s fucked! Used to be mad during Mardi Grass.
So much for tolerance in town.

Yeah for some reason that nobody is aware of the cops hands off policy was abrubtly ended. They set up surveillance in the lane, arrested everyone and shut down Mardi Grass. They even refuse to participate in the tug o war. What used to be a fun time and a big spike for the local businesses is now a week long police operation.

Pretty fucken pathetic really for something that will be legal in 5 - 10 years anyway. Such a waste of tax payer money it must cos hundreds of thousands of dollars all those cops, dogs, vans, choppers all doing shitloads of overtime for what a few joints.

That’s a fair amount of swing ozy....
Yea I noticed no real improvement running 1500ppm and 1200 tbh.
Probably too late now you’ve changed to led but did you try running your room warmer at 30C?
I didn’t realise how much this affects them when dosing co2.
The higher temp is 2nd in-line of importance for me, (more intense lighting being priority)
Helps put plants into overdrive I think.
I personally found growing in dwc a lot easier to tune in to the plants when dosing co2.
I could monitor how much water/nutes the plant is drinking or not and match my RH to suit.
Just gotta watch the RH doesn’t drop too low with those temps or the stomatas will start to close and you just waste the co2 addition.

Try running your room a little warmer if you haven’t already and see if you see any improvement?? 8)

Yep. They’ve spent their whole vegetive life outdoors.
And regardless of inside or out there’s no escaping the gravitational pull created by the moon phases. If u contain water then you’re affected by it, whether you’re laying in bed or directly under the stars;)
that’s not true. Only large bodies Of water are effected by the moons gravitational pull. Your backyard pool doesn’t have enough volume and therefore not enough mass to be effected by gravity. By that logic we’re all effected by the gravitational pull of the sun but we aren’t, only the earth as a whole is. Gravity effect all matter the same, more mass in the matter = more effected by gravity. Physics 101
