I think Warren or Klobuchar would pair up well with Pete.I wonder who he will choose as his running mate.

Stay away from the keyboardThe Dems are in trouble face it. I like mayor Pete but he didn't take care of his own city!!????? Trump has obviously changed since becoming president he's a grown up finally I don't mind his quircky remarks or Twitter junk at all. Go around the media.... ! I liked Yang even though im an Independent. But I am Trump all the way so many good things! We are a military family my brother was Delta force 18 he went in and 50 he got out and he's a doctor now so! My nephew was marine. Army for me four yrs and out my dad's brothers or my uncle's out of 9 Bros and 3 sisters 8 Bros were in Vietnam cousins. My son just turned 18 and will be a Florida swat team member or dea anything with some excitement.
There is a thread for each candidate in this forum. What Trump is leaving the next person is pretty scary. You think maybe you're getting ahead of things? Far from certain who the eventual nominee will be.
I think it's possible, if he were the nominee, that Bernie could actually beat Trump. It's what comes after that has me worried... given that Bernie will inherit Trump's economy (IMHO less stable than people think), Trump's mammoth deficit spending, and the inevitable Wall Street reaction (how much of Trump's supposed economic powerhouse is driven by Wall Street trading? If they clam up and go bear market for the next 4 years in stupid people's minds that will all be on Bernie).
Nah, the dnc will likely move to a brokered convention rather than let Putin rig our democracy by having us choose between his boy Trump and his boy Sanders. Plus, Sanders is dying and unelectable. He had a heart attack a few weeks ago and if he were elected, he'd be 79 on inauguration day. The oldest president ever inaugurated was 70. The statistical likelihood of his survival through a term is extremely low. He's therefore unfit and the delegates should not nominate him.You think maybe you're getting ahead of things? Far from certain who the eventual nominee will be.

I don't agree. I think Bernie is much more divisive. Besides, he's not even a Democrat. The Democrat party is a private organization that makes its own bylaws. You don't have to vote for their candidate in the general election.Any scenario in which the DNC moves to control the outcome of the primary process is going to cost them the election (obviously it's Trump election to lose anyway, but still).
Much of what you described was pushed by the Russians, so regardless of what happens this time, they will likely use that angst once again. The important thing this time around is the Democrats sticking together as a party to beat Trump and the Russian disinformation that their military is attacking us with.Honestly, it doesn't matter whether Bernie is a Democrat and the ins and outs of party policy. Do you not recall people freaking out about Superdelegates last convention, and the belief that the system was rigged? Democrats need students, young adults, and first time voters to come out and cast ballots in the general election. Any move that plays into people's lack of faith in the current two party system is a win for DJT.
Keep in mind, I don't actually like Bernie. I think people underestimate his candidacy, but I don't have great hopes for an actual administration.
I remember how Bernie would have won, if he hadn't lost. If it wasn't for his loss though he would have won.Honestly, it doesn't matter whether Bernie is a Democrat and the ins and outs of party policy. Hey man, can you remind me why DWS was forced to resign in shame again?I remember how Bernie would have won, if he hadn't lost. If it wasn't for his loss though he would have won.
Like I said, it's not rigged, the dnc is a private organization that makes its own bylaws. They really do not have to nominate Sanders and they are better off not nominating him. He's dying. At 79 if he's elected, he will be the oldest president ever inaugurated. The oldest was 70 so far. He had a heart attack a few weeks ago so his statistical lifespan is less than four years. This alone makes him unfit for office and it's reason enough to go to a brokered convention. Besides, he's not even a Democrat.
Because the Russians hacked the DNC emails and used them to make it look like she was cheating for Hillary Clinton giving her the questions, when in reality she gave all of the candidates a series of questions that might be asked. But that last part was strategically left out by the Russians because they wanted to help Bernie Sanders get elected.Hey man, can you remind me why DWS was forced to resign in shame again?
hey CurtisThe content of the leaks are what caused the damage. How/why they were released is irrelevant to the integrity of the actual content. Nothing would have happened if people weren't bothered by what was said between staff at the DNC and the Clinton campaign. It was made clear it was not an impartial process.
If you don't want to damage your political campaign, don't behave in ways damaging to your political campaign
Hence me saying that the Russians cherry picked and strategically left out that all of the candidates got questions that might be asked and not just Clinton. You ignoring that is very telling. The content of the leaks are what caused the damage. How/why they were released is irrelevant to the integrity of the actual content.
