it’s a bit of a toss up hey. If they only service larger croppers they might only start at 5kg and go up to 200kg+. Hopefully the other guy does smaller quantities

I had to chop a couple of buds off the top the other day as they were just too close to the light and couldn’t bend them anymore. Anyway for the first time I didn’t trim them first and I don’t care what anyone says I’m not liking how they’re smelling at all. This is an insanely awesome smelling strain but not atm. I mean it still smells good but it’s starting to annoy me somehow and that’s never happened before ?

Still money well spent if you need it jimy, but I feel your pain! As soon as you have a rural post code expect EVERYTHING to inflate!
I know there’s transportation costs but not at the mark up everyone takes....
A lot of small businesses around Kalgoorlie shut up shop when everyone started to buy online. “Support local they reckon” not at those prices I’m not lol.

Went into bunnings today to check out what stuff they have for moths/caterpillars. Nothing really caught my eye.... they had netting to throw over the plants..... (need bigger nets than that bunnings haha)
a moth repellent dust that you sprinkle over the leaves..... He’ll no!
sticky traps that wrap around the base of the plants main stem (was intended for a certain type of moth) and fungus gnats etc.
Citronella spray.... good way to scare them off for 2 minutes I reckon lol.
And moth traps that apparently attract the moths (I bought a couple to try it out, but I somehow think the smell of bud will be more over powering!!)
with so many moth repellents, I imagine nothing they had would work overly well for outdoor growers!?
Could be a good investment to throw out on the market for every outdoor grower if any one can think of any good ideas to rid an area of moths/butterflies!?

Yea your not wrong.. Small local businesses cant compete with anything online apart from the convenience of being able to walk in walk out with watever ya want if they stock it opposed to waitin a week for it being delivered...
Dont mind forkin out the coin if its a must have but after gettin everythin i needed from bunnings got home an realised i forget the bloody dipel, an hour drive back there so it can wait for another day..

I’ve always wet trimmed too venus but as of late I’ve been a bit lazy and remove all the big and medium fans then hang the branches upside down and the smaller sugar leaves form around the buds, once dry I have a look and wizz over them with the scissors, removing any excess leaf.
I’ve found trimming this way much faster and less monotonous.

That sucks jimy, 45 mins to bunnings for me! Something I’ve learnt when shopping at bunnings is to buy more or if it’s a toss up between 2 things, get them both, save receipt and return one next time your there haha. Saves another trip if you don’t have enough of something or get the wrong one

The good old wet vs dry trim debate. Last time i had a crack at growin i ended hangin the whole plant upside down then trimmed after.. Wasn much fun cleanin them up. Reckon ill knok them into branches this time n remove larger fan leaves then finish off once dry

if you haven’t killed that male yet make some yourself. Flower it out (don’t tell anyone in your area growing weed or they’ll kill you) and once it’s started to drop pollen chop and turn the whole fresh plant it into oil. It won’t be as strong as oil made with female flower but it’ll have a little bit of something good in it for sure.
