I have no idea what this means, cobs are referring to leds i assume Like I said I don't have any experience with them. I have 2 crappy leds i use for side lighting in bloom, that's the extent of my knowledge

The 315 is an expensive yet quality light.

I'm going to add another 315 next cycle ones not enough for my 4x4 I like the quality of buds I get with it over my 600 hps

You'd be surprised but a setup like this can really veg some shit for a very low cost. the light fixtures and bulbs are cheap it's just alot more effort and beginner way to start.

T5's are about 90-250$, CMH are about 350$ for a kit. Not sure of the price on led's probably around the same as t5's. not sure on that

You can really tell by the quality of those images which is the better lights. it's pretty accurate i'd say but t5s are pretty good, not much penetration into the canopy at all though.
Maybe I'm wrong, people have done remarkable things on budget setups

that part maybe i’m those blessed budget setup dudes lol

I would suggest a mars ts 1000 and a 3x3 tent. Or a ts 600 and a 2x2. 1topped and trained plant or two stretched and lollipopped.

In this picture, you can pretty much only see two plants.

I used this light here or basically the same one all the way through veg. 1 single mother plant. It did very well, yeilded 14 oz. on its own. Could fit 3 smaller ones in there easily but definitely think about flowering lights in a couple months.
