I've never used promix, but I see it recommended a lot on here. I started with Fox Farm Ocean Forest, but have turned it into a no-till soil since. Wait for the ProMix experts on that one.

That is Fox Farms Ocean Floor 50%. Coco-coire 30%. Dairy Doo 10110%. Orchid mix 8%. And crushed lava rock 2%.

Happy frog by fox farms is a better mix for seedlings small plants ocean forest I use more for my flower mix as it runs a bit hot.

They both suck. That's why the crazy mix. Coast of Maine Stonington is better. But nothing to debate here. I consistently grow healthy productive plants in everything from marbles to dirt. It's how you use it.

Promix is consistent and easily wetted. Sumshin3 and Fafard been very good.
