i hear ya, but for future reference, you could just use a small piece of plywood or anything for a small frame to attatch the drivers to, then use electrical ties or ratchets to fasten the frame to your tent, anywhere you want, preferably soomewhere with good access just in case

But i know all about just wanting to be done with it lol, trust me
My damn OCD takes over and try to make it look clean as possible lol. It will look good tho, I’ll post a pic once I’m done with it. I need to switch these to flower ASAP as they’re already 3ft or more lol and its gonna be a tight fit. Good thing these lights are pretty low profile and gives me some extra inches lol. Thanks for all your help bro!

So far so good. I have em like 5” or so from the top and don’t have a problem with burning. One thing I’ve been trying to figure out tho is, with me having the “A” type driver with the 2 built in adjustments for volt and current, is how they’re set with me taking em out of the box? Don’t know if the voltage is all the way up, half way or what and same with the other adjustment? I thought with it being constant voltage that it would be all the way up making it 48v but if I can adj up, then I don’t know what it would be at and then that would also change the current going to the strip. Just more research I need to do lol.

Ya your gonna want to buy a cheap kil-a-watt meter and also a cheap lux meter. Should be able to get both for less than $50 . Until then, just turn the voltage pot all the way to max, then a slight turn back.

Then adjust dimmer to achieve what power/brightness you want at that time. Its not scientific, but it will work until you get those meters and can adjust perfectly.

Thanks, I know what a Lux meter is, but what would the kil-a-watt meter tell me? I mean I know it’ll tell me the kilowatts lol but u know what i mean

It will tell you how much power the fixtures are pulling from the wall. you can adjust the voltage pot to set it exactly where you want.

Just a follow up, lights are working well and plants seem to be liking them. Below are some recent pics, tell me what u think as I’d like to know how you guys think they look cause to me I think they look good but it’s my 1st grow so what do I know lol. I’m just having an issue now keeping the temps down and also had to add a 30 pint dehumidifier to control the humidity and it fills up over night. When I turn the temps down at night to around 68-69, it never makes it there and stays around 74, any suggestions on how to lower my temps? Plus I haven’t even added my 4th fixture in there yet which will just make matters worse. @diggs99 , @2com , @coreywebster , @1212ham B5242D31-1572-413A-B669-832DFA8B0739.jpeg3F5E8846-3FA2-45B5-9F1A-04037E6A9C91.jpeg

I'm NO expert, but I was told by some that I trust that for LED grows, temps between 80-85 are ideal.

GREAT looking setup!
Thanks! Thatks quite hot if u ask me, I’ve heard temps that high with added Co2 but only then. I’m around that during germination but thats about it. During Veg, I’m usually at 79 or so and lower bout 5 degrees at dark period, Flowering I’m about 76-77 but wanna be around 71-72 and 67-68 at dark period but having a hard time getting it there.

I average about 85, and my plants don't seem to mind. Half of my tent is in veg, and the other half in flower. (Check out the grow-room thread in my sig to see pics.) I have an input fan with cold air on the flower side, so it's closer to 80. the temp sensor is over on the veg side, so that's why it reads higher. The thermometer on the flower side is much lower. Her's a screenshot of my temps over 24h. you can see on the RH side about the time my humidifier runs out of water. I fill it ever morning, and it sits over on the veg side, so those girls get more of it.

my room is set at 84.5f lights on, 74.5f lights off
I thought that was too hot for flower and needed to be closer to 74ish with lights and 68ish with lights off cause the hotter temps can easily cause mold and other issues? My temps are close to 80 with lights on and 74-75 with em off amd that’s why I was trying to find a way to lower temps. Or is it different growing with LED’s without UV & IR?

Yes , warmer temps work better under LED , lack of IR....80+ and you should be fine.

My room stays set at these temps until the last 2 weeks of flower, ill begin lowering temps and rh
