Honestly tho you could add an extra 200w of infrared bulbs/leds and youd get the same result. After all thats where the extra heat is coming from. And hps's produce way more ir than the plants need.

Well tonight my 315 an 400 tent is 29.5c
600 and 315 is 31c and the de set to 1000 is 27c
Portable ac set to 18.

still need to maintain minimum air flow though and leds just don’t make enough heat to keep temps up in southern areas. Even in my place i vent excess heat from my wood fire into the shed/laundry area to keep the temps up a little over winter (normally 5-10 degrees above outside).

yeah no wonder the 550 was doing fuck all for you. Bet the root zone temps where low as fuck making it harder for the plants to drink and shit.

If a 600 and 315 are 29.5 leaf top temps I’d guess the 550 was lower than that. Would guess root zone temps would be around the 20 degree mark. That’s a bit cold. Especially if the res is that temp or colder.

leds are just another light source. All light is pretty equal if you go off the photon output. Unfortunately leds do have a downside which is cooler environments. Leds are the shit in hot areas where you’d normally be running tons of ac to keep hps grows cool enough.

480 Iranians have died because (they're stupid/ignorant) and also because some turd of a human being posted that drinking methanol cures covid19. A 5-year-old boy, fed by his parents probably, is now blind in both eyes and in a coma.

Methanol is the shit in toilet cleaner btw.
