Cheap LED vs expensive advice

Not at all, I was thinking about getting a spider farmer sf-2000 but not sure if I should spend that much on a light... I love growing but haven't gotten the best results so far
IME you need to invest some $$ in decent lighting if you want decent results. The HLG 260 V1 for $229 that PadawanWarrior posted would cover a 2x4 area nicely. I think you would have much better quality and quantity than with you current light.

And use code "RIU10" for an extra 10% off. Hell ya.

Here's one of my 260's. I went a little nuts, and ordered more than I really need, lol. This is the only one I've put together so far. The others are still in boxes. With the new XLG driver and included potentiometer, I can adjust it really easy from 28-250 watts.

I may look into a few of those to augment my tent too. Thanks for the link.
If you do, I'd recommend selecting the LM301H diodes vs the lm301b, if I understand/read correctly the H is almost the same as the B but has a protective coating on it to protect from humidity from horticulture uses. The H in fact stands for horticulture, it's a slight upgrade produced by Samsung specifically for growing purposes.

My vote on above suggestions also, i don't think there is better choice out there especially for that price. They will outperform your current lights greatly, you wont be sorry, i had china burple and went to similar choice, now i wonder why i ever went for burple.

The SF2000 or the MarsHydro TSW2000 are great "retail" lights for about the same money. Kind of a Ford/Chevy-BMW/Mercedes-Mac/Windows thing. Everyone has a preference as far as the "better retail that you can buy on Amazon" lights are concerned.. If you don't want to do DIY for whatever reason, both are fine lights for the money. (I'm running 2 TSW2000, and 1 TSW3000 in my 4X8 tent, but could have easily bought the SpiderFarmer lights as well.)

With that size/layout (long and narrow) area, you may want to go with something like the MarsHysro TSL2000. It's longer, and would cover the space better. ( https://www.amazon.com/MARS-HYDRO-Spectrum-Hydroponic-Fixtures/dp/B07PLZLKVM/ref=sr_1_1 )

Good luck!
I appreciate it, might have to do that.. I like the price tag and umols on it

Marketing-they are exactly the same diodes.

If you get good at diy builds you can build a far superior light in terms of efficiency, light quality and spread in a 4x8 for $1000-1100 I highly recommend doing some homework and going this route if you've worked on other projects and have a few tools.

No, i think they have the coating and built in angle of dispersion, like 15 deg. off from center so that the light is not directly downward
They stagger them +15, then -15 deg the other way on installation for wider dispersion if I recall.

This is without a doubt the best value I have gotten in LEDs in the last 4 years of growing, I just ordered a second replacing my blurple and cheap amazon COB -
What does your setup look like and what do you yield? I’m going to be doing a 10x10 tent

I put one in a 2x4 supplemented with a small 6-Light COB Cree on the side for total coverage as my canopoy is currently filling the space side to side. I also bought a second for my 2x3 vegging tent. This will be my first grow using this light so I'll have an answer for you about yield in about a month or so. What i can say is that my flowers look wonderful and that these 3 plants look much better as far as yield potential than any other grow I've ever done. I have also become much better at fertigating my coco every day with measured ph & ec water and this is my first scrog grow as well. There is a lot contributing to a better yield this round than just the light.. I am loosely hoping for ~4oz per plant x3 --> 3/4 lb yield. We'll see how it finishes. For 10x10 you'll probably want a couple of the bigger panels..

I had 3 of those gixxer 1000w lights. I will say that I wish I never spent it on them and would have started off with the 3000w (300w) quantum board led light that I just got last week.

I found that you have to hang the blurples very close in order to get the best growth but that limits your coverage on the rest of the plant. I attached some photos.
The quantum LED has much better coverage.20200307_074148.jpg20200326_204440.jpg

i will never trust an amazon review again.
selling those cheap burples with fake wattages is just criminal.

Two “300w” vivosun leds here. 4th week into flower.

they’ll produce results. But like anything, if you spend the money and do it right your yields will be better. I ordered a 600w hps to add to my two cheap 300w leds
What size tent are you running? also how many plants and pot sizes? I have a 600w Vivosun and i'm a first time grower. so I didnt want to invest too much if i don't plan on growing anymore after this.... Quarantine made me do it!

how well do you think that quantum board will do in a 3x3? i'm fearful my 600w vivosun just wont cut it once i enter into flower. first time grower...
