I don't pity the fool that buys them, lol.I may look into a few of those to augment my tent too. Thanks for the link.
But they actually look like decent lights all joking aside.

IME you need to invest some $$ in decent lighting if you want decent results. The HLG 260 V1 for $229 that PadawanWarrior posted would cover a 2x4 area nicely. I think you would have much better quality and quantity than with you current light. Not at all, I was thinking about getting a spider farmer sf-2000 but not sure if I should spend that much on a light... I love growing but haven't gotten the best results so far
And use code "RIU10" for an extra 10% off. Hell ya.IME you need to invest some $$ in decent lighting if you want decent results. The HLG 260 V1 for $229 that PadawanWarrior posted would cover a 2x4 area nicely. I think you would have much better quality and quantity than with you current light.
If you do, I'd recommend selecting the LM301H diodes vs the lm301b, if I understand/read correctly the H is almost the same as the B but has a protective coating on it to protect from humidity from horticulture uses. The H in fact stands for horticulture, it's a slight upgrade produced by Samsung specifically for growing purposes.I may look into a few of those to augment my tent too. Thanks for the link.
I appreciate it, might have to do that.. I like the price tag and umols on itThe SF2000 or the MarsHydro TSW2000 are great "retail" lights for about the same money. Kind of a Ford/Chevy-BMW/Mercedes-Mac/Windows thing. Everyone has a preference as far as the "better retail that you can buy on Amazon" lights are concerned.. If you don't want to do DIY for whatever reason, both are fine lights for the money. (I'm running 2 TSW2000, and 1 TSW3000 in my 4X8 tent, but could have easily bought the SpiderFarmer lights as well.)
With that size/layout (long and narrow) area, you may want to go with something like the MarsHysro TSL2000. It's longer, and would cover the space better. ( https://www.amazon.com/MARS-HYDRO-Spectrum-Hydroponic-Fixtures/dp/B07PLZLKVM/ref=sr_1_1 )
Good luck!
Marketing-they are exactly the same diodes. If you do, I'd recommend selecting the LM301H diodes vs the lm301b, if I understand/read correctly the H is almost the same as the B but has a protective coating on it to protect from humidity from horticulture uses. No, i think they have the coating and built in angle of dispersion, like 15 deg. off from center so that the light is not directly downwardMarketing-they are exactly the same diodes.
What does your setup look like and what do you yield? I’m going to be doing a 10x10 tentThis is without a doubt the best value I have gotten in LEDs in the last 4 years of growing, I just ordered a second replacing my blurple and cheap amazon COB -

I put one in a 2x4 supplemented with a small 6-Light COB Cree on the side for total coverage as my canopoy is currently filling the space side to side. I also bought a second for my 2x3 vegging tent. This will be my first grow using this light so I'll have an answer for you about yield in about a month or so. What i can say is that my flowers look wonderful and that these 3 plants look much better as far as yield potential than any other grow I've ever done. I have also become much better at fertigating my coco every day with measured ph & ec water and this is my first scrog grow as well. There is a lot contributing to a better yield this round than just the light.. I am loosely hoping for ~4oz per plant x3 --> 3/4 lb yield. We'll see how it finishes. For 10x10 you'll probably want a couple of the bigger panels..What does your setup look like and what do you yield? I’m going to be doing a 10x10 tent
Nice improvement. They look great.I had 3 of those gixxer 1000w lights. I will say that I wish I never spent it on them and would have started off with the 3000w (300w) quantum board led light that I just got last week.
I found that you have to hang the blurples very close in order to get the best growth but that limits your coverage on the rest of the plant. I attached some photos.
The quantum LED has much better coverage.View attachment 4520885View attachment 4520887
Thanks Padawan Warrior. They're still doing really well.Nice improvement. They look great.
i will never trust an amazon review again.I had 3 of those gixxer 1000w lights. I will say that I wish I never spent it on them and would have started off with the 3000w (300w) quantum board led light that I just got last week.
Can't agree more about buying off Amazon. There's a lot of fakes or reused items on there anymore. I still buy little things off there, but you gotta be careful, lol.i will never trust an amazon review again.
selling those cheap burples with fake wattages is just criminal.
What size tent are you running? also how many plants and pot sizes? I have a 600w Vivosun and i'm a first time grower. so I didnt want to invest too much if i don't plan on growing anymore after this.... Quarantine made me do it!Two “300w” vivosun leds here. 4th week into flower.
they’ll produce results. But like anything, if you spend the money and do it right your yields will be better. I ordered a 600w hps to add to my two cheap 300w leds
how well do you think that quantum board will do in a 3x3? i'm fearful my 600w vivosun just wont cut it once i enter into flower. first time grower...I put one in a 2x4 supplemented with a small 6-Light COB Cree on the side for total coverage as my canopoy is currently filling the space side to side.
