Aussie Growers Thread

Have done it once, was a lot of work if your not set up properly for it.
I think a lot of for profit growers don’t realise the potential that sog offers. Or are too stuck in their ways to even consider it.?
Have seen a guy online a few years back do it with a fast flowering pheno of big bud. Had like 10, 1000w hps lights and was pulling something like 25 pounds of big, quality head buds every 8 or 9? Weeks.
Pretty sure it’s been removed now and wouldn’t be surprised if the guys doing 25-life, but was impressive none the less.
Agreed, I think it’s probably the best method for small production growers if you’ve got the space for keeping mums / donor plants, and cloning. I’m not sure if it’s a stuck in their ways thing, maybe that it’s more suited to F&D and some view that as an old school method these days?

Re the work flow: if you stagger the trays it’s more manageable, can do a harvest every 4 weeks and breaks it down a bit. Still a fair bit of work though.

Should see my loungeroom ceiling, whole things bowed about to collapse, houso life not complaining cheap rent
If it’s commission housing you could make it look like it collapsed by itself send pics of your shit fucked up and tell em you want cash for your shit and anew roof. Not an honest way but the alternative is it happens when your not expecting it and could really fuck you up.
Next alternative is lay under it get your mate to pull the roof on you it will hurt fucken heaps but more coin. I don’t condone this but would be funny to hear about it

Yes for sure, F&D would be ideal.
Off memory this guys setup was very simple but effective, flood and drain tables, filled with coco, a reservoir, pump and a timer.
Always wanted to try that after seeing how simple yet effective it was.
Staggering your tables would be the way to go I reckon.
Wonder if anyone here has done F&D sog setup with coco? Or something similar?

Especially if it’s that old school shit it weighs a fuck load more. I hate doing jobs when we have to remove it, shits horrible.
Probs y houso dont wanna fix it, give me a new tin roof and kitchen but leave my whole roof leaking, get zapped by light switches all the time. Whole kitchen power point blew up after pluggin new deep fryer up, fuking broke it a fews days ago
