Fucking cold today had to turn the heat mats on in the veg cupboard. I’ve been thinking about cutting a shelf out of the cupboard in the shed and using the lights I have left. It would be 1.6 L x .7 W x 1.8 H already have the fans and shit just need a small carbon filter eventually. Figure that would give me all my personal and the tent for “personal” as well

Yes for sure, F&D would be ideal.
Off memory this guys setup was very simple but effective, flood and drain tables, filled with coco, a reservoir, pump and a timer.
Always wanted to try that after seeing how simple yet effective it was.
Staggering your tables would be the way to go I reckon.
Wonder if anyone here has done F&D sog setup with coco? Or something similar?
Problem with coco or say rockwool in F&D is salt build up, they’re both better top feed and some run off, not bottom fed. Hydroton is the go to for F&D, either in net pots or the hydrofarm square pots are good for sog. @klx has a good F&D sog method with zero media. I clone a different way to him so haven’t tried his way.
I’m using the current culture net pots with hydroton, they’ve got good light blocking around the top of the pot.
