Or just a whole tray.
Ive got a few big pots now with holes drilled, i'llpull my hydroton out an wash it re use it save coin to.
Not tgat it orrys me buying it 100 bucks for 3 bags not even half oz.
Yep, that’s another way of doing it for sure. I like net pots so I can check the roots occasionally, make sure they’re growing good.

I never been to snow dunno why ppl like it.
Like u said cold wet miserable.
i dont mind going to Cradle mountain for a walk around in the middle of winter. No tourists and all the waterfalls are flowing. Good Bar there to with a huge round fire to have a brew by as well.

Not a fan of camping in the snow though- especially when the vehicle wont start and u have to try hitch hiking...

Yep with hydroton done 40 plants posted a pic here not long back.
1 week veg got like 26 ozs 4x4. 1100x1100 table.
Its hard to get that many healthy clones
If i had more room id prolly grow like it all the time.
Wow! That’s awesome jzs!
Yea that is a lot of clones if you had 3 or 4 tables on the go. You’d need a mother plant dedicated to each table I’d say.
I would imagine you could get slightly better results from hydroton and flood more often...
Would be easier/less mess to setup than coco too.
Where would be a good place to buy the F&D tables jzs?
I looked into it a while ago and wasn’t much selection in Aus and what was available wasn’t cheap!

Would be awesome to see that pic if you still have it and not too much hassle? 8-)

Problem with coco or say rockwool in F&D is salt build up, they’re both better top feed and some run off, not bottom fed. Hydroton is the go to for F&D, either in net pots or the hydrofarm square pots are good for sog. @klx has a good F&D sog method with zero media. I clone a different way to him so haven’t tried his way.
I’m using the current culture net pots with hydroton, they’ve got good light blocking around the top of the pot.
Yea true, didn’t think of the run off side of things with coco.
I’ve got a shit load of 6” net pots from my dwc setups I ran and can source more easily.
I figure I’d be better running individual reservoirs for each table if staggering harvests as opposed to one big one?

I run mine as drip system dont like flooding tables u have to have like 250 litre res.

So i have drip lines the system i just pulled i run the pump on when lights on when lights off 15 mins ever hour.

Ok. Makes sense jzs.
Did you run a bubbler/air stones in your res for drip feeding? Or does the hydroton provide enough air for roots when lights are on?

I will jzs,
Thanks for that.
As long as the final product is good, that’s all that matters

Gotta love clay. Had these same balls for over 5 years. These seedlings will stay in clay til harvest.

The only positive for this whole isolation crap an trimmin is iv spent all that time out by meself away from the mrs an kids, bit of time to meslf without being jumped all over helps with the cabin fever..

Fuk was over it last night was cold enough i coulda easily kickd back in front of the open fire with the mrs
