And if your worried about saving the scissor hash off the gloves then you need to grow more I say:lol:
Grow more you say. Dont think i can handle much more then what ive already got on the go,
Having the local pigs camped next door for an hour an half was enough to get the paranoia pumpin a fair bit.
Glove an scissor hash is a bonus, need gloves so im not stopin every 5mins to rip me fingers apart

Was thinking 4x4 ozy.
So 200 litre res....
I’m thinking from what I know and from your guys advice that I’ll setup for 3 x 4x4 tables, (perpetually harvesting a table every 3 weeks) 3 x 200 litre res’s a shit load of clay balls and net pots.
I already have 3 big air pumps, one for each res. And I’ll order a spare air pump.
What size submersible pump would be best for a 4x4 ozy?
And yes I’ve learnt the hard way with air leaks, high water temps, not keeping res, air stones, line etc sterile enough
and another bonus to this is I will only have 3 res’s to worry about and not 12 buckets lol.
I’ve been using the Aqua One 103 pump - 1200 LPH. Fills the 4x4 X-Tray to 1 riser return in about 4 1/2 mins.

No need to go nuts on air in F&D res like in DWC. Enough to move the water and surface. I.e 10-15 LPM in a 200L res is heaps with a couple of stones or discs. If the water noise isn’t an issue you can also cut the drain hose short so when the tray is flooding and draining the drain hose creates a water fall back into the res. I’ve also got my chiller return pointing upwards in the centre of the res.

Good to know ozy.
I never skimp on the air in dwc, keeps the water healthier for longer. But makes sense with F&D as the waters regularly circulating.
Smaller air pumps would be better, big air pumps make a lot of noise!
Not long bought an adjustable submersible, could be a good option to have for dialing in setup?

that’s awesome, gives me more of an idea where to start

What chiller do you use Ozy? Do you think it makes much of a difference?

The Haliea 250a for 200L res. The 150a would do your res size easy.

Yes m8. Heaps less issues with the water temp below 23-24. I run at 21.5. If I didn’t use it my res temps could hit 27-28.

This is what my set up looks like. 4x4 x-tray, 250a chiller , 200L res, and tool less stand.

We’ve been doing re watches of Dexter and Breaking Bad. Vikings next.
I've been doing re-watches of "Bambi goes crazy-ape bonkers with his drill & sex" series, followed by "Sex with the headless corpse of the Virgin astronaut" (#3 is my favourite, despite anything anyone says that the original is the best).

I'm saving "Girls who crave big cocks Vol. 6" (my personal favourite) for a cold & wet weekend.
