Hi so I have a 3' X 3' X 5' tent with a led set up my temp usually stays 26°c and 38 humidity I have a filter and inline fan set up plenty of ventilation. I'm wondering if I can continue venting into my same laundry room as I always have the door open, at least cracked a few inches. it dosent seem to be getting to warm or moist in there at all and my intake is at the bottom of my tent and exhausting to the ceiling (my laundry leads to an open living room). My other option is connecting to my existing dryer line (I'm an HVAC installer btw) with a Y and a backdraft damper on each end before the Y with my tent exhaust on the angle side and my dryer on the straight line. I know that the fan is pushing out just under 200 CFM and the dryer is no where near that assuming the air follows path of least resistance (exiting my building) as long as I install maybe a shut off gate and close my tent side completely when running my dryer and shut off my fan till my dryer cycle is over I shouldn't have any issues with air coming back into tent or dryer I'm only assuming. Please give me some input on this. Also was wondering as I live in a condo with 6 to each building will anyone notice like repair men or building inspectors that the dryer vent is constantly blowing ? PLEASE GIVE THOUGHTS THANKYOU!!!

if it aint broke, don't fix it. your temp is perfect for growing under HID, if you are using LED then you actually want a little bit more heat. 26c is 78.8F (79 is ideal for a HID canopy). If running under LED you would want 83 - 86F at the canopy (85F being 29.4C).

Get yourself a Thermo that reads the humidity. Maybe think about co2 enrichment.

CO₂ in a 3x3x5 with an LED? Seems a bit much. Unless the light is generating more than 1,000 μmols there's no real point unless you want to grow mushrooms

Agree. CO2 won't do the majority of home growers any good unless you can really pour on the lighting and also maintain a closed environment.

Unless you have a really well ventilated attic, you're could create a really nasty mold problem up there in a wood frame building. Be careful .. it's easier to prevent that to get rid of.

I would exhaust your tent on its own line straight outside. Your an HVAC guy it should be no problem. Problem with not doing it that way over time you will develope mould problems as well as mildew. Even with a backdraft flap you will get mildew and shit building up in your dryer line cause unless it’s running at the same time air will get back in there. As well as dryer air getting into your tent say if your exhaust is on a timer and someone runs the dryer
I'm just worried about my laundry room getting mould or mildew I know the temps are pretty ideal right now just wondering what damage it can do to the room Im a renter in a condo

I use CO2 in a 5*5 but I have a 400w hps, with a 3000w led, and a 1500 w led

I would if it was my place but I'm a renter and it's a 3 story condo and I'm on the top floor. Makes sense the moisture build up in the line just wondering what else I can do I have no windows or anything I can vent into like an attic right now I just have the exhaust coming out towards the ceiling Temp seems to be fine in my laundry room no different then a normal summer day

Your condo should have a MUA, tie into your return on it. Providing you can get to it. Problem solved

Well if it gets that humid then you will need to worry about bud rot. Use a dehumidifier in the laundry room to keep things below 50%.
