You notice less yield+quality on moster cropped plants because the few times ive ended up monster cropping theyve always yielded less than they should and dont have as much kick to them
Yeah I’d say it’s the particular strain. I did it on both shishkeberry and crystal rain and the shish responds really well but the crystal not even close. Same with white widow and pineapple ex. Ww went crazy pineapple nothing notable. And I’m only meaning with bushiness and branching (yield) not potency. Haven’t noticed any differences in potency at all monster cropped or not.
I also think it might have a lot to do with where u take the cuts from too.

So ,where should you take the cuts from, or does it depend on the strain

doesnt matter, larger cuts will root faster and have more success but the DNA of the plant is identical. Rooting a flowering clone from a mature flower does take time, it will yield more but then u have also used up a hell of allot of veg time. That Monster cropped clone pic i posted a page or so back took like 2 weeks to properly root and then 6 or so weeks to start throwing new growth.

Did you read that online or have you actually done side by sides small clones vs big clones?

Both. All my clones are smaller than some people take but ive noticed that the bigger the clone i cut the faster it roots. Flower seems to want to die easier wit a smaller cut.
Even just rooting normal clones i find the bigger the cut the better result.
You have a different experience i take it?

If monster crop they seem to take ages.
You need a good month to to revert them back to veg.

Whats your ipion on cloning from clones.

Some ppl recon plant is an exact copy some ppl claim the potency an yeild deteriorate.

Potency and yield doesnt deteriate for shit ive been running the same clone for about 3 years now and its yield is only getting better same as potency as i dial it in more and more
