Any Ideas? Looking to build a room

I would not expect those numbers when someone is brand new.
Depends. He has money, thats big. If he does his research, creates a proper environment with proper light and uses good genetics then it's totally doable. The biggest reasons not to get the weight are covered with money and research to make proper choices. There are plenty of examples for him to follow. He just has a lot of research and planning to do so he spends the money properly.

You don’t even know how long I’ve been trying to figure this out for I hear sooo many different things all the time, what type of lights are those specifically and I plan on running 18 plants in each room... how many lights would I be able to run with my given power?

1k watts running on 240v pulls like 4 amps. if you use DE's each light will put out like 3500BTU of heat. get an A/c which cools more than you produce. 1 fixture should cover a 4x4 area. so draw out some rooms. leave space to be able to work on the plants. and see how many lights you can put with the dimensions you draw up.

Why are you running 2 flower rooms? Im not against it, but thats just another A/c you need to buy. @Renfro
@Mshamma1 you wont be able to run DE's in a basement. they are just too hot and even 8 foot ceilings are just not quite tall enough. I am building my basement out as well from scratch. By my estimation it will cost me around 30-40k to setup the veg/flower rooms with 16 lights

i would really like a full rooms of LEDs. but i’ve never used one before. i got a 1000w led aboit a week ago and have 2 plants in a tent to see how it works. if it’s not good i’ll put cmh in veg and 1k single ended in flower. this led is killing it so far tho

I got a growcraft, only because it was a good price, but still very expensive. It was on sale for $1099 for the 1000W fixture. You can get much cheaper lights and there are many threads about recommendations. When i went to price out a DIY build using samsung lm301h diodes it was going to cost me 950$ to build a 750W fixture, the growcraft was barely more expensive and more powerful. I think the growcraft needs more red spectrum tho. Could supliment the red/far red later with more strips.

Do you have any pictures of plants under the Growcraft light? I'd love to see it in action.

how are you able to crop so much out of that many plants? But I’ve heard of people using plenty of 630 cmh to pull massive weight what is most ideal for the best yield? Have about 50-60k to invest if needed
You have that much to invest, have you grown before? I recommend starting off a bit smaller than going big right away. I just ask because i can tell by your questions you seem like your a new grower.

I would personally go with hids. 630 cmh or de 1000s. You're going to have to drop some money on mini split a/c also. I run a 2 ton mini split ac in my flower room.

I’ve been helping a couple of buddy’s out for alittle haha have some experience and decent knowledge, my biggest issue is figuring out exactly what I want to do and what would be most effective for my setup, one of them uses the gavita de 1000w and my other buddy uses 630cmh

I was also thinking of going with the 630 cmh I’m liking those, I Want to get maximum coverage and yield

I planned on getting 5 ton units for each flower room, I’ll be using big carbon filters, co2, dehumidifier and plenty of fans
