24 plants 12/12 from seed SOG

My 2nd grow. 3 1k LED’s 450 watts on wattmeter. Is 24 too much? Should I do 18? Never done SOG or 12/12 from seed. Expected yield? Want to do one big cola without much training/no super cropping. Hoping to get 1 oz per plant.

when u say 12/12 from seeds u mean the minute it pops out the soil.... or u give them the 2 weeks then force flower?

I did 33 plants in a 4x4, 3 weeks from seed flower. Yielded about 14 grams a plant. Big yielders will get a little more. Now I'm back to bigger plants for a bigger yield. My 33 was crowded in a 4x4. Maybe could've gotten more without all the crowding

Unless its a really stable strain its going to be hard to achieve a sog from seed. Phenos are going to vary and you are going to have all different heights and possible plant structures.

You would get a better yield from clones that are all from the same mom.

640 watts HLG quantums. I prefer 1-4 plant to take over a 4x4; yield is much better for me. I clogged up my blumats halfway thru flower too, I maybe would've done better if I wasnt hand watering 33.

I think sog should be from clones. You get uniformity. I was growing indica, sativa, and everything in between. It was a pollen chuck project that I wanted to fast forward and get more done. Was a mess

14g’s? What size pot? I’m in the process now of transplanting from solos to 2g smartpots, and will have 16-20 (maybe, they’re sexing out now). 4x4 lit by a 315cmh.
Several different strains, which probably won’t turn out to well, lol.

You have to grow the right strain to do SOG to it's maximum. You want to be growing a strain that can grow one big main cola with minimal branching. Indica dominant strains work best. Definitely don't SOG with a lanky sativa.

If you use 5.5" x 6.5" pots you can get 64 in a 4 x 4 tent. You can fit 8 to a nursery tray and 8 nursery trays to a 4 x 4 tent. That's 64 plants. Grow in coco with a drip system running Jacks or Masterblend and calcium nitrate.

The large pots 8 to a tray. They're 1.75 liters or around 60 ounces.

Here's a plant growing in that size pot. So that size pot can grow weed.

64 of these in a 4 x 4 would be a good harvest. This was 12/12 a week from sprouting in that size container. Wicked Widow. One big cola. If I wasn't limited by plant count I'd run 64 plants and see what I get.

Go with Xtsho's advice above. Coco would do a lot better. I was in 1 gallon soil. The indicas did much better in uniform. Less branching. I had to throw a screen on them to get the sativas down. I'm sure the 2 gals will be better for you either way. More soil = less watering. Or hook up an irrigation system.
