My Mum is about to peg-out at the grand-old age of 93. A good innings, I think you'd agree......
It's been on the cards for over a week, but she's a stubborn old coot & will make us wait until she's good & ready.
She introduced me to poetry (Dr Zeuss was the gateway drug....) & the love of the English language.
She encouraged me to learn French. Another beautiful language.
She bought me my first skydiving rig, even 'though my Dad apparently forbade it.
She was fiesty & recalcitrant in many regards.
She danced with US airmen during WW2, only to lose them to operational losses & they never came back......
I'm gonna miss her when she's gone, but will be relieved by that passing....
I'm not dealing with the situation very well....

yeah that’s also common. Xtr means extra and Winchester rifle with the tag often have some kind of extra (mostly cosmetic) work done over a base rifle.
