Emotional day, it seems. So much for weed chilling people out, eh?

Maybe y'all need some melatonin and a nap.
I’m chill. Until dipshits try to muddy the water under the guise of “questions”.

Have a nice day.

Natural processes at work here as the board/strip tech is widely adopted and diversity of forms lessens. Imitation becomes more rampant. At the same time the cost to produce quality lights has been falling, the efficiency gap has dropped dramatically between top tier lights and budget alternatives.
Another facet o& the present market competition is the simplicity OG building lights with no soldering and very few connections and freedom from assembling panels with discrete diodes of the past, and makes DIY possible for thousands.
Lots of competition and copycats and DIYers are just part of the landscape now, but whatever, many alternatives exist today that are very efficient and far better than old HPS could ever be.

I meant move the Majo 800 light closer to the canopy.

Very interested in your lights and also in your yield eventually!

Yes I can, but I’ve found with the bar lights there is a sweet spot for distance to produce the most even lit canopy.

Too close and you have weak spots between bars and hot spots under bars. Kinda.

BK-78 has some good numbers:

As for yield. I stopped weighing long ago. It’s personal and I compost excess. Easy pound per tray without effort let’s just say.

Oh, and at the end of flower... dimming.. letting them finish. A couple got a little light stress towards the end.

Always learning.

If I can pull 2 per light I’ll be happy. Would like to get the gavita 1700e but price is up there
I know a guy personally who pulls at least 2.5 a light with the Gavita 1700e in coco. Ive seen multiple ppl on these forums and other sites claiming to hit 3+ per light with Gavita Leds or LEDs that put around as much light as it.

Im going for 3 with these Meijiu 650s I ordered. Ill have a few test runs with it in a 4x8 and see how the yield and quality fair against 1kw DE HPS in a side by side.

Looking at the 1000w octopus. Not worried bout electric cost so much as I am production. I have a few patients I grow for and just want to be able to keep up with their demands
