I transplant from a ten" to a five gallon

I'd say comfortably root bound and about a bushy foot tall.

That's about when I transplant to 5 gal. I go from a 2 gal to 5 gal and flower in that. Plants sure like the new "dirt" after transplant.

I dislike disrupting my plants, so I upsize only once. From my starter 1/2 gallon pots to their final 3 gallon pots sometime during the third week of veg usually (I then veg up to 8 weeks, then flower).

I have always went from 4x4 starter to 1 gallon pot, Then after they fill that, which is about 3 weeks or so. Then from 1 gallon to 7 or 10 gallon of fresh supersoil. And they always take off like a bullet afterwards.
