How much a litre foliar what the nitrate or the cal mag?
can foliar either. The nitrate doesn’t have mag or boron though. For the nit I’d go 1-2g per litre and for the cmb I’d go 2-5ml per litre. If you go A lighter dose you can hit them more often. if it where me I’d foliar the bottled gear (probably around 2-3ml/L around 2-3 times a week) and boost the base nutrient with the calnit When needed. The bonus is if you stay with the standard veg/flower nutrients you can ditch the veg and just boost the flower mix with the nitrate for the extra nitrogen.

Coco and fabric pots work with F&D but I dont like how wet and soggy and algae covered the fabric pots get. Also you need really good quality coco for recirculating. The Bunnings stuff wont work even if you really flush it.
Agreed that the Bunnings stuff is only really good for dtw. coco is really in its prime for dtw hey. Can chew threw the nutes but less fucking around, use cheap nutes and it’s not an issue.

Use expesnive nutes and its still not an issue (i use canna dtw) only reason i use canna is because i cbf learning a new regiment and the profit margin is through the roof either way, we all laughing it turns legal then well have to work to earn money... fuark in a bit pissy

Edit: im nearly on the mega crop train tho just only thing from stopping me is do you need scales every time you do a rez up

Could you just chuck your fabric pots in the washing machine to wash em? I chuck my plastic trays and small pots in the dishwasher hahaha

That was another thought I had, but wondered if I'd just end-up with snapped-off tabs & no other way of attaching suspension. All good, I've now got things in situ:

Next step is to figure-out a recirculating F&D system much like @klx using fabric pots & coco, rather than hydroton balls. I'm liking the idea of automation in future.....View attachment 4654148
Gday big fella hope your doing well. I'm trying 60/40 mix hydrotron and coco in my next tray but im using the course coco not the fine stuff. the fine stuff is a pain in the fnd
