They use pollen from females that require extensive measures to reverse (like colloidal silver) and force them to create pollen. All females can be reversed and forced to produce male parts one way or another. Back in the day people would grow hermie seeds because they were naturally feminized... but also very prone to hermie.

Aye mate, don't know about you, but I was wrong on my side. I thought I had a male, but I shoved her in the dark for a couple days with some water and, and I've got meself a female. She's small but the flowering is already evident.

Mine ended up being female. White hairs have showed up
