Back in the day it was Marine World, Africa USA, right? Not just Marine World.
I remember going as a kid. Some family from Mexico came to visit. My cousin was almost kissed by a giraffe. Fuckin think stuck it's tongue out to lick her and she moved just in time. It was pretty funny

I dont remember "Africa" but they did and still do have lions and tigers and bears.......

Oh my....

And now thinking back on it they did have a drive thru safari. But we were broke back then so we didn't have a car to do it. Lol

We went there when our daughter was stroller age. The giraffe came over and gave us a sniff, I think.

Ah. So yea. They changed from marine world to discovery kingdom when 6 flags bought it. Back in 2007.

They were forced to relocate all the whales they had as well.

Now only dolphins and sharks as of the last time I was there.

That was why I was thinking it was forced.

I don’t know if this applies but I build waste water and water treatment plants for years and a lot of parks have retention ponds so be aware that possibly could be a shit lake.... I’m not saying it is but it is something to think about.

On another note..... we visit a zoo most every year that has giraffes and a platform to feed them from so we feed them lettuce.....their tongues are like 2’ long and will wrap around your arm several times then strip all the lettuce right out of your hand .... it’s pretty cool. They are beautiful creatures and pretty gentle.

Ive fished worse lol. You can boat there but not swim. If I can catch I bass and take a shower after I'm good.

Hi there wizzlebiz what species are you fishing for?
I love brown trout, sea trout and salmon fishing during the season and rainbow trout and pike during the closed season, that's pretty much all the fresh water species I find worth catching in the UK.
