yep spray some BT on your plants. Also I’d try to get as much of that caterpillar poop off your plants because as others have said, it will cause bud rot! I sometimes use a small brush to help flick it off, whatever you can do to remove it from your plant.

Any of you guys have experience with Langbeinite? I ordered some because it looks awesome for flowering:

Amen to that! Almost missed a tiny caterpillar today while I was doing the daily PM inspection. Little bugger wasn't even an eighth inch long and was basking on a flower. Squished it and out came the B.t. for the rest of his gang. PM is ramping up; it seems to favor one plant in particular and I'm guessing I'll end up lollypopping it at some point.

I amended my initial mix with it, top dressed a few days ago, I was wondering what the release times look like. Other than that I don’t have any prior experience with it but I’ll be making a tea with langebeinite, some guano and a few other things so results to come, keep me updated with what you do how it works out. It’s something new for me too

Will do. It says that it’s water soluble so I’m guessing a tea will give my girls a nice quick boost.

Hey guys! Haven’t been on here for a bit, hope all is well. My girls have been doing well but unfortunately I’m starting to get PM pretty bad from my brothers vegetable plants that he let rot (he’s an idiot) lol. So I’m gonna have to start a heavy treatment this week to get it under control. What’s everyone had the best luck with?

As a preventative I spray the area/plants surrounding my garden with copper fungicide. If DO encounter PM I guess is spray hydrogen peroxide.

I’ve already sprayed with peroxide as I already had some but I’m gonna look into some organic fungicides. I’ve never really had a pm problem before. Basically my brother has a “garden” next to mine but he doesn’t know a damn thing about plants and he let them all die yet he continues to water them
All the leaves on his zucchini are white with mildew and I’m sure that’s how it spread to mine

I’ve recently started getting small spots on a plant. How bad is it infected? I’ve just cut out any parts that have any and it hasn’t spread. I was thinking of spraying with a fungicide but decided against it with buds so far in developmentI’ve already sprayed with peroxide as I already had some but I’m gonna look into some organic fungicides. Well luckily my plan started flowering a little late so the buds are small. Although the plant is pretty big, at over 9’ tall and super wide it’s hard to effectively spray everything but I’m trying to remove the more infected leaves

It looks a long way from being ruined. I think you’ll get it under control. You’re right I think spraying after cutting out the infected fans will do the trick. Good luck man

I spray hydrogen peroxide solution to maintain it the best I can. Wipe off as much as I can with a tiwel. I do a bud wash and water rinse when I harvest to sterilze it gets all kinds of crap out of the buds. Rain tonight and tomorrow is not looking good.

I want to do a bud wash but I can’t figure out the logistics of it. Seems like a mess of a process with so much material. I was thinking of doing it in the bathtub lol
I use one of those long plastic containers people use to store giftwrap rolls. I put it right on the kitchen counter, dip the branches in and gently swish them in the water for maybe ten seconds, and let them sit for a minute or two. Then I dip them in another container to rinse, let them sit and drain for a bit, then run the leaf blower over them to get most of the water off before I hang them up to dry. After a while it’s like working on an assembly line lol

Just threw the tea in the brewer. First time making nute tea. For about 25 gal I mixed in 25 tbsp bat guano, 12 tbsp kelp meal, 12 tbsp alfalfa meal, 16 tbsp of langebeinite, and a few cups of worm castings. I see a lot of people generally steep their teas but I put the air on, figured it cant hurt.
I couldn't really find any solid inputs for the lange, one source said use 4 tbsp per 25 liters and the other said 1/8th tsp per 2 gallons. Thats a pretty big difference. I also read that although its water soluble, its slow to dissolve so I ground it up for 30 seconds or so in the blender. Hopefully theres nothing wrong with the 4tbsp/25 liters. If anything ill monitor ppm's when its done and dilute if needed. I plan to add a cup of molasses early tomorrow and then my corn seed sprouts in 24 hours.

Even a quick rinse is better than nothing to get the contaminates off the bud that could possibly lead to mold even months later.

Greenhouses are tough, bascially trapping tons of humidity.
I was worried about overnight air flow and early morning dew and so I ended up ordering 3 little fans that can be charged via USB. Over night I run all 3. 2 last 24 hours on low, and an oscillating one that lasts 12, it keeps the walls dry and the roof slightly damp. Dew hasn't been forming on the leaves so far. I charge two on a sunny day via a solar pack, otherwise rotate them charging inside. I try to keep one on it at all time during the afternoon to keep air flowing. So far so good, but I'm worried as I get further in the year and the buds thicken. This is my first greenhouse attempt, but I've had outdoor grows mold in the past.
