Now this is my thinking after some local package es s took forever....
I think the packages are backlogged in Melbourne because of that fucking cocksucker Dan.
Australia post are on Skeleton staff due to this guy scaring the crap out of the masses and social distancing etc. Big companies had to reduce staff by 25%. So this is my reasoning. Over worked, under staffed compared to usual. Customs will be the same too. So I believe a back log will get cleared and pusgmhed through. Well that's what I'm hoping for anyway. I think reordering now would be a good idea as the will get slammed. I got 7 grams of Colombian marching powder sent in a Xmas card a long time ago by a mate wishing me a white Xmas.
I have found that ordering to coincide with Easter Xmas mother's day father's day generally will get through as they get slammed with presents being sent to loved ones from across the pond. Anyhow t hgats my 2c worth.

Hope your right but I'm not confident
I actually reckon cos the airports are shit etc a the border force customs have gone over to parcels so they would have a lot more hands on checking of parcels hence why we getting stopped

I want some SSSC seeds, but there has been the same issue with payment.: an error that says to contact the site or my bank. SSSC sales say it's not a problem on their side, but they don't sell to Australia.
So, I went looking at authorised dealers/on-sellers, despite not having the free Lava Freeze seeds (as SSSC's current deal).
Seedsman have a message on their site which is relevant to all orders:

Customer Alert

Recent challenges occurring with USPS and Australia Post processing have resulted in some customers experiencing unusual delays in the delivery of their orders. For those directly affected, our Customer Support team has been in touch and replacement orders are being issued. In order to best serve our existing customers and those affected we are unable to accept new customer accounts for the short term.
If you are an existing customer you will be able to place an order as usual. If you are a new customer, please be patient as we look forward to serving you just as soon as possible. We will revisit this situation daily and update this announcement as soon as possible.
If you would like to be notified as soon as we are able to accept new customer orders, please Join Our Newsletter and we will let you know.
For existing customers and those with orders in process, please refer to our online Seedsman Support Knowledge Base for any answers to your queries. If you must contact support, please be patient with us. We will respond to each in the order it was received, but we ask that you do not create multiple support tickets as this will only delay our ability to get back to you.
It is important to note, delivery times to the US are currently averaging 5 weeks with no expedited service is available. Tracking numbers will only be provided once the parcel has been processed by our US hub which is currently 3-4 weeks from the time you place your order.
Thank you, as always for your trust – we value you and your business and look forward to growing together!

Looks like I got nothing for a while.

Yep, two orders from Seedsman not yet received. One despatched 15/8/20 & the second despatched 27/8/20.

Still within the normal timeframe from previous orders that have made it through, but I'm guessing there will be a significant delay (if anything actually gets delivered).
My Seedsmans orders are normally here on a month at most

I'd expect a fortnight minimum delivery. Probably closer to a month with all these restrictions. With the exception of royal mail. That left the country of origin with 48hrs. The rest have been taking a week in transit before they leave the country of origin. I think everything is slow from this covid
