3 leaved plants?

A buddy gave me these and am wondering why these clones only have three leaves?

One (far right) was already fucked a little when I got it, but theyre all doing good for the most part with the LST

the more fingers on a leaf the happier it is. most plants will grow 5 or 7 fingered leaves. some will grow 9, 11, or even 13.

3 is bad. its a sign of stress. just reduce the stress and it should return to 5 or 7.

1 is worse.

The Vanilla Frosting clones I got from Dark Heart Nursery had 3 blade leaves all the way through. The other plants in the greenhouse (Sunset Sherbet and Wedding Cake) all had 5, 7, or 9 blade leaves. Same environment, soil, nutes etc. Supposedly this happens when it has stress from poor lighting but, they were under the California sun so, I don't know. That was my first grow and it's just wrapping up. I've since monster-cropped those VF clones and those are all kinds of wonky. We'll see how they look once they grow out of their reveg.

Also, Duckfoot strains will have 3 blade leaves. They were bred for that, though. Probably not the case here.

I'm wondering why LST turned into HST.. There is a whole branch snapper and hanging on for dear life. Pick it back up and use electric tape to hold it together then ben her however.. just be easy on that branch.

3 leaves is common. They have to start vegging again.

Thats the one I was talking about when i said it came like that. Im not really too worried about onebranch at this point.

ive just taken a look at my kush clones and they have reverted back to 5 leaf blades , so theres time yet for them to change

Ok so you see that too? I was wonderng why he said nothing was snapped. I figured I smoke too much. I was like.. I'm clearly looking at a snapped branch or I'm really blunted
