And what was previously an unheard of statement becomes good advicethat is one place in America I would not feel safe
It's a myth that candidates for the presidency pay more attention to small states because of the EC. They don't right now. The EC means that candidates put most attention into larger states that have a closely divided electorate. The main problem I have with the popular vote, is it would cause politicians running for POTUS to focus on a handful of the biggest cities being able to ignore all the people in rural areas.
love republicans out.....vote
I have what seems like a dumb question, But are all his supporters this Stupid ?
Just listen to these People, Buy em books and send em to School and this is what we get. HOLY SHIT !!!!

Protest peacefully dont go and destroy ur community because you feel like ur not having ur way! Im done talking Politics on this thread, nothing positive will come out of this at all...Yeah I forgot about the federal district thing, you are right, that is one place in America I would not feel safe from Trump's temper tantrums as a American citizen.
nah, not reading it.Give this a read. I seen alot of familys hate each other over political views and i don't think thats right. Everyone has a opinion dont be that guy that hates someone because of it!
I still think that the obviously missing part of the above analysis is that it just focuses on the 'General election'. If you combine the importance of the primary it would even out. It's a myth that candidates for the presidency pay more attention to small states because of the EC. They don't right now. The Senate is where rural states gain the most advantage. The EC just gives a minority party a chance to game the presidential election and defeat the will of the majority. Individual districts get their say through the legislature. Smaller states gain advantage in the Senate. The EC does not achieve what you say. The majority ought to have it's say of who should lead the executive branch. After all, that's who are most affected by him.,

I don't know how a popular vote would not just wind up with politicians pandering to the highest population centers.
Course they would... but we have things like tv, radio, internet, etc. Those remote locations arent as remote and cutoff as they were when the electoral college was created. Those in the low population states and counties have the ability to be heard just as easily as i.I don't know how a popular vote would not just wind up with politicians pandering to the highest population centers.
What does the EC have to do with primaries? Each party sets its own rules for delegatesI still think that the obviously missing part of the above analysis is that it just focuses on the 'General election'. If you combine the importance of the primary it would even out.

We agree with you. But Biden is a way shinier turd. Bidens promises look great, but I'm doubtful of the follow through.Keep on dreaming of a politician thats not corrupt!
Biden hasn't pushed the boundaries of reality from anything that I have seen. It really comes down to if the Democrats can win the House and Senate if he can get anything done.We agree with you. But Biden is a way shinier turd. Bidens promises look great, but I'm doubtful of the follow through.
I know. Its things like SOPA that scare me.Biden hasn't pushed the boundaries of reality from anything that I have seen. It really comes down to if the Democrats can win the House and Senate if he can get anything done.
Also Biden had a long ass career of not being a corrupt politician and has shown his taxes the entire way. He didn't start making money until after he left office and did not have a government office to profit others with for money. And Obama trusted him.
That is good enough for me.
He will appoint good people to the jobs that need to be filled for our executive branch to get fully functional after 4 years of nonsense.
