I ordered seeds from seedking that were white widow autos. They are growing nice, just starting to flower...however..they look like 2 different strains... Right? Also... Most of the leaves only have 5 fingers...I thought it was a bit unusual. Any thoughts????
Oh ya....I ordered 8 seeds and only 2 popped.

25% is not a good germ rate. Check your germ method..... The last few white widows I ran was dinafem autos....all were similiar but that's kinda unusual as phenos are mostly all over the place.

This is my first time using "living soil".
Organic coco coir mixed with organic earthworm castings in 5 gallon fabric pots.
3x3 Hydropolis Grow tent
( 2 ) 1,000w lights. 1 is straight LED while the other is COB. I don't know too much about lights. Am I really getting 2000w? Heck no. These are $80 amazon lights but this is my second grow with them. My first grow was with 4 Plants and yielded just over 250grams with these lights.
My temperature hovers around 72° with humidity around 40%.
I have a CO2 can but I doubt it's really doing anything.
I AM NOT using a filter of any sort. Just a deskfan.
What do you guys think? I'm open to suggestions as I am always learning. I am far from the best grower but love doing it

I did what I normally do. I get a clean tupperware and place a wet paper towel in it. Seeds usually pop in 2 days...but not the ones from seedking.
I emailed their support staff and they said they could give me free shipping on my next order.
I said "what next order?!!" They must be smoking crack

Glad you're happy with your first efforts...even amazon lights grow weed...it's all the shit growers do with other parameters that make a difference. Your 1000 w lights are probably around 150w wall pull...with 2 you're getting bout 300w in your tent which will definitely grow weed. I run 280w in about the same tent and am happy with results as long as I resist "pushing the rope".
Your temps may be a bit low as plants can handle higher temps with most leds.
Ventilation/air movement is a major factor.
Now germ method: whatever works sometimes will work sometimes and "sometimes" just ain't good enough for me. I have no input on living soil or coco stuff.... I just plant a seed in my choice of moistened medium (Bio bizz light mix) on a heat mat and smoke a doob. No sweat.

My advantage is being raised in a farming community where simple is utilized. 50 years ago, we'd plant cannabis amongst corn and let'em rip just like the corn. Cannabis seeds were very expensive back then but we did nothing special more than we did for the cover crop.
Ya kinda learn from how nature does it and improve on areas that show need.
Growing in 4 different areas, with different lights and varying parameters per area, the challenge is almost always temps which can foil or enhance every aspect.

I normally keep my tent door open for air circulation. When I do the temp reaches about 90°. Is that too hot?

First week of flower complete.
Start of week 2.
