HLG/ Mars/ other? sale guidance

Can't say without measuring the pot on that driver. You "might" be able to squeak out another 10W-15W.
Would I be able to measure it with a multimeter? Like the Ohms setting I'm guessing, if I hook it up to it? And if it reads 85k, I would want a 15k resistor, correct, or am I confused?

It's a resistor feedback circuit. The driver outputs a signal through the resistor and/or potentiometer and makes adjustments based on how the signal is altered by resistance.

So the more resistance it reads the higher it will want to go up to a point where it maxes out? Sorry if I sound like a dumbass, lol.

Sorry to cut in, but I was trying to follow along. This is right along the lines of my thread lol. I just got 3 qb288 rspec boards and a hlg-480h-54b driver. Can I find a cased potentiometer with resistor built in? If not what potentiometer and resistor should I use?

I have MUCH more studying to do after the holidays. I got a decent SOG goin with 3 gals under my amazon special. I'd like to build a better set up before I switch, took cuts tonight Soni have some time....
Honestly over half the info here is Greek to me right now!
