Colloidal silver

I started spraying a branch with 30 PPM colloidal silver one week before flowering. I am now 3 weeks into flower and the branch had shown no signs of flipping or stress after 4 weeks of spraying the leaves on the top and the bottom until it was dripping off. Then when I went to spray this morning the branch I've been spraying looks like it's dead. I know colloidal silver causes it to be stressed and look sickly but has anyone ever seen it cause a plant or a branch to look like this?

30ppm
Sprayed twice a day. Once after the lights come on and then once right before the lights go out.

It's been fine for 4 weeks. Showed no signs of stress at all. Was starting to wonder if the CS was bunk so I tested it myself and it's definitely 30ppm. Over night this happened

which states that using colloidal silver, 20ppm or higher on flowers is used to turn female plants to male, cs prevents production of ethylene which makes plants grow pollen sack and since female plants have no male genes, they produce seeds with female genes only...

in human usage, it is used as disinfectant, and in plants it is used for treating fungus and root rot but with 1:25 dilution "A solution of 10 ppm strength colloidal silver mixed at the rate of 1 pint colloidal silver to 2.5 gallons of water and 1/4 teaspoon household detergent was applied to affected trees (in various states of challenge, from 10% to 50% foliage involvement). Visually detectable improvement manifested within 48 hours. Marked improvement and pathogenic stabilization evidenced within 72 hours."

but im still interested in it... why did you use it? where did you find source for that?

forgot to ask:
did you check if some other thing in your environment went crazy, like temp or hum? did you change nute regim? just to be sure we exclude any other variable...
 
Where did you get the CS? Much of the stuff you buy online won't work. But skip the CS and use STS.

That happened overnight??! That's crazy!! I make my own CS so I know exactly what's in it and spray the nodes and tips of growth where the pods form only once a day, usually start seeing results after a week or 2 max. I find it works best when using it on a separate plant/clone and not just a branch if you can. Its more work but I find it gives better results. Also, I make sure to only use fresh solution and keep it in a dark cabinet to prevent any light degradation.
 
It may take a you a couple more tries on different plants with different solution to get positive results, it might not work every time until you get everything dialed in. I've read that STS can be more reliable and foolproof though. May have to give it a try one day when my silver rods run out.

Colloidal silver has been used across the cannabis community for years now it's kind of like rodelization. Colloidal Silver forces females to grow pollen sacks for the purpose of creating feminized seeds. The pollen sacks that come from a female sprayed with colloidal silver is female pollen. Therefore, any buds pollinated with female pollen creates seeds that are feminized.
Colloidal silver can be found online at in pharmacy's or even walmart. You can even make it yourself at home very easily. Many people use "TM" tiresias mist. There's also Silver Thiosulfate "STS" that's known to work as well and after this experience with CS I think I'm going to switch to the Silver Thiosulfate. I've had many successes using colloidal silver in the past with other strains. This is my third attempt at using CS spray on this strain. The first two attempts didn't do anything but make some spots on leaves and create some unsmokable bud. Well, actually I did find one single seed somehow.. anyway I've never had it do this before but I did step it up and sprayed them twice a day instead of once a day. I want to know if someone else has had CS spray cause this much stress and if they have, did the plant come back from it?
 
I've read and heard that STS is the way to go many times but like you I have a large amount of CS readily available right now and haven't wanted to spend the money on the STS yet. Your right, not just every strain but every plant that I've treated has acted differently towards the CS. I'm going to end up buying some STS now tho. Too many failed attempts with the CS. I'm at like a 60-40 ratio of it working.

If you are not going to use GA3 which in my opinion is the best, then STS is the only way to go, its cheap, $10 of silver nitrate, and $10 of Sodium Thiosulfate, will make roughly 350 gallons of Silver Thiosulfate solution and just 1oz of that solution can treat a whole 2 month old vegging plant, just spray it lightly once, then flip her, and pollen sacks will mature in 3-4 weeks!

My mixture...

part a, 0.1 grams silver nitrate, mix with 4 ounces of distilled water.
part b, 0.5 grams sodium thiosulfate, mix with 4 ounces of distilled water.

To make silver thiosulfate solution...

mix 1 part, part a, and 1 part, part b, into 10 parts of distilled water.

For example, to make 12 ounces of solution...

mix:

1 ounce part a
1 ounce part b

into 10 ounces of distilled water...

Notes...

1. when solution is mixed it will stay good for 60 days if stored in dark cool place, do not refrigerate.
2. parts a or b, once created can be stored in a refrigerator for up to 1 year, it starts losing it effectiveness after that!

The specific CS I got from GNC. It's crystal clear and when you shine a laser through it you can see the whole beam. I have about a gallon of CS spray I made myself that has worked before, just can't get it to work on this damn plant. I've also used the GNC CS on other plants with success just apparently won't work on this plant. Many people don't believe me, think I'm using shit CS or doing it wrong but I know it's good and that I'm doing it right. I've used it over a dozen times in the past. If I could get seeds from this plant I would send them to people to see for themselves how strong the female genes is in this plant. It's a mutt strain but it's my mutt. I've had clones from this plant end up with crazy light schedules from the old school push pin timer being bumped and not knowing , fan fall on them, dog chew them up and even one time they got watered with baking soda and vinegar lol I was drunk and not paying attention. I didn't realize it for 2 days!( I used too use baking soda and vinegar to make Co2) This all happened to the same couple plants and they still flowered just fine.

You doubled what you usually do.
 
Yea overnight, had yellow spots last night and today it looks dead. I keep my CS spray in an old peroxide bottle. I also have my own homemade stuff that works but it didn't work on this plants mother the last 2 times so I tried store bought shit. Never had anything die from it before tho

I doubled what I usually do because it didn't work on this plants mother or it's sister so I upped it to being sprayed twice a day. It's probably dead. Atleast it's just one branch. I was just wondering if anyone's ever seen CS spray cause this much stress and if they have, did the plant come back from it?

I still have somewhat healthy leaves on the branch, two to be exact and I just looked at it again and it appears that theres new growth coming from the nodes.. sacks hopefully
