Autos in FFOF.

Hey all. First grow. And Iam guna do autoflowers in FFOF. I herd it’s hot. So I thinking top 40 % happy frog and bottom 60% FFOF. And Iam starting seed in jiffy pucks Then to final pots Does that sound ok so far.???? And should I buy those single domes to put over young plants at start to help or are they not needed ?? Just get a humidifier if needed ? Please help.

Don’t start the seed in jiffy’s just put it in the pot it will finish in and only give it small amounts of water first, your soil plan is fine and sounds like a decent mix. Humidity domes are for clones not seedlings, you don’t need it. Depending on where you live you don’t need a humidifier either just a spray bottle to raise your rh if needed

can u go into mire detail on why not to use jiffy’s ?

Well unless you plant the jiffy into the pot and then the seed in the jiffy. But if that’s the case there is no point in using it. If you start in a jiffy in a seed tray and then have to plant it into a bigger pot then yes that’s a transplant.

I heard 250 ml approx for seedling. How much do u suggest ? And how much water do U suggest for germinated seed with taproot. Thanks for all the help

Transplanting stunts all plants you don’t notice it they appear fine and get going again in just a few days but seeing as autos have limited time you don’t want to set them back at all. I know they can be transplanted. But it’s best not to.

Sometimes I can't help it. If you really want to help new growers out then you should be steering them away from autos as a first grow.

Autos are for outdoor early harvest... People grow autos for many different reasons.

Do you have any photos of your finished untransplanted autos? Just wondering.

I just said autos are for outdoor a few posts up. This new grower didn’t ask should I buy autos or not. I’m not here to tell people what to try.
I haven’t grown an auto in years they just aren’t my thing unless they are ran outdoors
