Inline fan pulling out air

Hello everyone, Happy New year.
I have a question about a 6" AC Affinity fan that I'm worried is not working quite as intended. Before I contact the manufacturer I wanted to ask the knowledgeable folks here first.
It doesn't feel my fan is pulling out as much air as it should. If set at level 4 and I place a piece of tissue up to the exhaust ducting it will barely push it away. It's in a 4x2 area.
Is this about normal or might I have a problem, thanks for replys.

are you pulling through a carbon filter? ac's are nice fans but don't make a lot of pressure. speed 4 on those fans isn't jack. try turning it up to 6.

Stick a sheet of paper up to the grow room intake. Go by how hard the paper is sucked onto the vent.

You can also take a big hit off a bong. Blow the smoke at the intake. See how much smoke is vacuumed by the intake.

Your grow room environment should smell fresh and clean. Nothing stale. Stand in the grow room with the door closed. It shouldn't feel like standing in a stale closet.

I have an AC infinity 6" at level 5 in my 4' x 8' x 6.5' tent has great negative pressure. Not sure this will help. No carbon filter attached though, straight vented out the top port.

I have a 6" S6 w filter in a 4x5 closet and I get crazy pressure.

I have a feeling you assembled the fan blades wrong or something. I feel like I've done this a couple times w AC infinity fans after taking apart for cleaning. basically make sure all the arrows are pointing the right way and the turbine thing isn't in backwards.

Hi, thanks for the reply. It's brand new so I haven't had a chance to clean it yet.
I've emailed Affinity so I'm waiting to see what they say.
I'm sure it's an excellent fan regardless of my possible issue based on what others have said about it. I'm going to try and readjust and fiddle with it some more today.

Ok, upon further inspection I've realized the ducting on the exhaust had come slightly open so it was probably blowing some air inside instead of out. It's blowing out much better now.
Cheers, and thanks everyone for the replys and advice.

Make sure you get that figured out properly. Tape is not an acceptable way to hold your ductwork together. Having that fail in the middle of flower and cooking all your plants would be a real disaster. Plenty of people on here to tell you about that.
