My ambient house temp is 19c. On the other side of my grow room wall is a biomass heater, stopping the room temp from dropping below 19c. so i doubt ill need to add extra heating. Also have anohter ts600 and 2 660nm 50w flower lights for later.Oil Heater on a controller. 1500 watt can warm quite a bit of space. Like it all, there's math.
Wattage needed per cubic feet. With mine, I need 750 watts. The oil heater has three settings. 1500watt, 900, and 600. I use the 900watt with a plug in room temp controller.
Don't restrict air flow. You need all you can get.
You're welcome. I'm glad I could help. Keeps us updated to how they're doing.
Its difficult at first but after you the hang of it. You'll really enjoy a good led light. It took me a couple years of tuning it. Distance between light pods. How many. What heat sinks. What voltage can I use.
Its a tinkering. But once its right. Wholly shit. I don't have to worry if its not enough or too much. Brother, I got it covered.
Its been anything but boring.
The MH and HPS are in my past. They're never coming back. Like an ex girlfriend type deal. It was fun while it lasted. Excellent smoke....kinda. Not really. Not since Led.
They responded nicely! Perky, bold, and strong. Look at them go. In a day or two they'll really start screaming along. Node after node.
Remember, they'll need cal mag for the rest of their life. You can't stop or you'll get a mag problem. There's something about LEDs that specifically causes it. Every plant I've ran until a couple years ago would show the rust spots. Particularly in soil. When I moved to coco, I'd get one plant out 4 that would rust. The others were fine. Same dose between them all. But that one plant needed a bigger dose.
Cal-Mag calls for 3-5ml per gallon. Cal Magic calls for 2.5ml.
I run 2.5 Cal Magic per gallon. 6ml for 10 quarts. I'm not a fertilizer scientist but I like Cal Magic more then Cal-Mag. First its stronger by the dose. Second, it stays mixed up better then Cal-Mag. You don't have to shake it as much. Also a better smell. Not baby diaper ointment of Cal-Mag.
they look better but not great in my opinion sorry something is still off
