the burners are brass, they wouldnt use copper.Nope, I'm running propane but I dont think it would make much difference, they both burn clean.View attachment 4798281View attachment 4798282

Natural burns cleaner and everything needs maintenanceI think propane burns cleaner than natural gas

I use a brass wire brush
all the buildup will be on the outside of the burner where combustion occurs.do you use propane or natural gas? Do you just clean the outside of the burner or do you actually take it apart?
The guy who I spoke with from customer service told me to take it apart to clean inside of the hole of the burnerall the buildup will be on the outside of the burner where combustion occurs.
If anything got in there, it made it past the regulator and that is highly unlikely. but it can't hurt. Not something I have ever done. My Sentinel CO2 generator has been in use for a good 7 years with me and I picked it up used off craigslist and it was obviously well used when I got it.The guy who I spoke with from customer service told me to take it apart to clean inside of the hole of the burner
I will take a picture of them later tonightIf anything got in there, it made it past the regulator and that is highly unlikely. but it can't hurt. Not something I have ever done. If your flame is burning correctly then there is no issue. Do you have a pic of the burners lit so we can see the flame color?
Cool, make sure to turn the flash off.I will take a picture of them later tonight
Copper corrodes, it's a green oxide. Thing is though, they don't use copper burners, they are brass.Copper doesn't rust
NG is way cleaner than LP, Even more so if buying small prefilled tanks.I think propane burns cleaner than natural gas
Yes need drip leg to be legal here. When running a gas line i like to put a drip leg before the shutoff and regulator. The drip leg will catch impurities that could clog the regulator.
The natural gas or propane will burn clean provided the air to fuel ratio is correct, this is managed by burner orifice size and the regulator preasure.
I was going to post a video but they are slightly blue flames that appear a little larger in my opinion. Not drastically bigger but big enough that I can feel more heat than usual coming out of itIf anything got in there, it made it past the regulator and that is highly unlikely. but it can't hurt. some of the carbon that you see in this picture is what I scrubbed off from inside The top of the unitCool, make sure to turn the flash off.
You look perfectly good to go IMO. The burner slots don't appear to be at all affected and the flame color looks great.I was going to post a video but they are slightly blue flames that appear a little larger in my opinion. Then why is carbon appearing at the top of the unit? Does yours ever get like that? It’s concerning to me like something is wrongYou look perfectly good to go IMO. The burner slots don't appear to be at all affected and the flame color looks great.
