Any advice on lst’ing this auto?

So far I’ve started tieing it round the pot but not sure whether it’s the best way or not, it’s an auto so don’t want to top it.

Yeah looks like u got it going on as it grows just keep pulling it down and tying. Sometimes ill just take the tie off from the last time and reuse it on tje new growth unless it needs a whole new tie down.

Ok thanks so it’s not gonna be bad for her tieing it round in a circle? I can see her main stalk twisting so didnt know whether that would cause too much stress or not.

Since you have other plant's flowering in there I would just keep the canopy even with the rest of the plants. If you are leaving your plant low & tied down.. raise the pot up to keep the plant within 18-20" of the light. You don't want to lose out on light by it being shorter than the others.

Looks like your a bit too late. It's already flowering.
It showed pistols at 9 days from seed and hasn’t stoped producing them since, someone just said it’s showing preflowers really early and was impressed. It’s been on 12/12 cos I’ve got a photo in flower next to it. It’s not shown any buds

in my humble opinion that tent space could be put to better use but hey its your grow i never saw one flower that early its not going to be very big maybe with the lst it will grow more branches why only 1 photo in flower didnt you take clones?

If it's an auto then I suggest going with more light hours. You may still be able to benefit from the LST as long as all the bud sites are getting even light.

First ... stop running autos under 12/12 - zero benefit to a plant that will “ self trigger “ under a LONGER light cycle. Reason you want a longer cycle up front is to aid in root mass and structure to set the “ base “ of the plant before it moves to next stage.

It flowered early because it had no choice but to move forward- it sexxed out at early / less developed stage. Too late to do much about that shit.

I would just stop over handling it and just let it flower as best you can. Your yield has dropped since running 12/12. Now just try to grow it stress free as possible. That plant ( for example ) would be at least twice if not more in size if running 24/0 or 20/4 cycle from start. Or even standard 18/6.

Don't let anybody tell you that autos can't be topped. This thread should make that abundantly clear.

I started the photo months back and then bought some auto seeds I just stuck one in with it as I read up you can still grow them 12/12 you just get less yeild ( I don’t mind) it’s an experimental grow. Just trying to yeild what I can from it been on 12/12 cos I’ve got no choice but to have it on that cycle as I’ve got a photo on flower and only one light thanks for all the helpful advice

I pull the apical stem down to break dominance, then separate and tie down the nodes around the pot to achieve the
shape in the last pic. Just the technique that works for me. I've never tried to train the stem around the pot. Good luck
I’d love to eventually get this much from autos, what lights do you run and what size are the bags? Do you put them straight into them from seed?
