How developed should I let the roots get before putting in soil? I buried 2 like the larger ones here last run and they seem to do just fine.
why do these ones look so opaque?


Seems like some are farther along than others, didn’t want too much of a spread when planting.

I wait until it has a shit ton of roots which usually takes 4to 5 days

My diy cloner...roots take off in a solo or 1 gal.

Your biggest one is ready, the rest I would wait until they have at least that size root ball, a little bigger wouldn't hurt.

Cool, The last 2 I planted that looked like this are doing good.
just wasn’t sure if they’d be better off letting them go for longer.
