Michigan Law re: Edibles/THC

Okay, I think I understand the Michigan position regarding cannabis/hemp PLANTS - but has anyone explored/learned about the regulation of edibles/concentrates? What are the limits on making and sharing or (gasp!) selling them as home-grown medicinal products?

I mean I’ve been gone for 2 years now but you can always give away stuff and if someone were to donate money then good. But you can’t sell outright without one being tested and two a proper license.

The interpretations of the law I've read are ALL about plants & flower - no reference to THC itself or edibles. If something's illegal it's written down somewhere...

You have to have a license to produce and sell edibles that contain THC. In any state.
"in any state" - Meaning that this a Federal statute? According to the feds, it's illegal to sell cannabis for ANYTHING, EVERYWHERE (currently). I'm looking for a reference to a MICHIGAN statute, possibly part of the 2018 legalization of recreational use & sale. But thanks for the reply!

I am no lawyer. But 100% legit as I understand the new laws. Go to MI.gov and read away. After many hours of reading, using free lawyer consultations and actually talking to a lieutenant of my local city police. I am of the understanding that we are allowed upto 10 O's dried regardless of bud hash or concentrates. And be wary. Your 1 plant is weighed as hung. Not after cure and separation. I only gift. And I give wet trim branches away by the pile to keep legal. Our laws are now a hand out to big business and an entrapment scam for those unable to provide the funds to license.

How the yoops? Us trolls are getting sun tans. LOL.

Edibles are considered marijuana. They must have the marijuana label on it. In order to sell marijuana you must have a license. In any state.
I don't know what the laws are in MI for giving it away.

Here you only needed a caregiver card to sell overages to dispensaries. Now it is illegal. Why I gift 1/8ths in front of the dispensaries. All out of state or Canadian owned. Love Canadians. But illegal aliens on that in my state.

That's interesting.
You nailed it in your other post.
They want the $.
Here in OR you can give away whatever you can grow. Which is 4 plants at a time. No weight restrictions.

We yoopers spend most of our winters scraping trolls off trees when they drive faster on snowmobile trails than they did on I-75 getting here, lol. On the bright side, the 4-wheel craze is keeping our medical system going in the summer, too...

I'm hoping that the Washtenaw County Prosecutor's decree that they're NOT prosecuting ANY cannabis cases (and in fact rolling back convictions/arrests) - except for those involving "public safety" (tainted/additives?) will catch on. I know law enforcement isn't crazy about becoming like moonshining revenuers, enforcing laws on the books solely to generate taxes & fees - unless they're given some additional reason to go hard on you...

I grew up in St. Ignace area and Copper Mountain BFE. Not a troll. Just live amongst them. And they are humorous until called upon to improvise. Grab a squirrel and rabbit pasty with uncle Sven's homemade dandelion distillation on most days was my life there. Miss the lack of people.

Oregon has been doing it right so far.
Here's a link I'm sure will be available in a similar fashion to MI sooner or later:

The bigger towns are growing some but the burgs are disappearing. When I hear about killing off the oil economy, cars going electric - self-driving I wonder what it'll look like in 20 years. Can you imagine how long it would take a self-driving car to go through the U.P. IN WINTER, with some snow & ice on the road? Think they'll approach 40 mph? Doubt it...

I pumped gas while in high school & you wouldn't believe how many times I was asked if we accepted American money. When some people drive across Mighty Mac and go through the toll gate they think they're IN Canada, lol...
The strip just over the border in Sault St. Marie prefers US dollars. Higher exchange rate. Canucks tips are cheap to the dancers in comparison.
