Defoliating help??

Hi guys. My girls (green gelato feminized) are currently 4 weeks into flower and was wondering if I should maybe defoliate? I heard mixed reviews so just wondered what you guys thought?

Yes, I think you can get more light to just below the canopy by trimming all the big leaves, even from the top. I wouldn't worry about clearing out the lower parts so much. You won't really gain anything. Just trim away all the big leaves, leaving the small bud-site leaves that'll feed the growing buds.
