Spent $200 on a pack of black koffee from green source gardens. Really solid looking outdoor strain. Placed 6 in a moist paper towel like I always do and 3 days later they were all covered in this weird white mold. The seeds were completely melted. Never had that happen fml. The next 6 I soaked in water with a little iso and put them straight in soil afterwards. They all grew like a dream and now it looks like I have 5 males and only 1 female. Definitely flowering out the males and making f2s to get my money's worth but man this is definitely the most expensive female plant I've ever grown. I have a few females from other strains so I'll be good this season

If it isn't too rainy next week I'll probably start hardening everything off outdoors. Everything is going in the greenhouse mid may and will transplanted out into beds June 1st.
Yea just keep the nicest male, collected a bit of pollen and do isolated polination on a few lower bud sites

Tirah Valley babies progressing slowly but steadily on the window sill. Did put them out last week on a couple of the warm days so the wind could toughen them up. Cola end is from winter windowsill grow - the windowsill plants looked like they were finishing then started throwing new calyxes once the days started getting longer; they are thoroughly confused LOL.

In the same boat. Made the mistake of taking in clones from someone and one of the clones had PM. Moved the clones to a quarantine tent but it was too late and managed to spread to all my plants I was going to outdoor with. The clones have been in quarantine tent for 5 weeks with no signs. Thought I was in the clear and moved them to the place im growing outdoors this year. Within 3 days some clones got PM so it must be laying dormant.

So I started some seeds at my dads house. Hope they get big enough.

All of the males are looking great atm, a very solid breed strain. I'll pick one or two and chuck the pollen on a couple branches of all my outdoor plants this year. I think it will pair well with my gg4 cut as well. I've been meaning to do some breeding and this gives me a good excuse.

I've had the same problem too. Got some clones from cali with pm. Couldn't get rid of it for months. Out of all the expensive fungicides I used to combat it, cheap wettable sulphur ended up totally eradicating the problem for me. You don't want to use it when the plants are well into flower but it works extremely well in veg. I sprayed the plants a couple times and it's been gone for about a year now.

Yeah I picked up bonide 90% sulfur and was going to give them a good dosing because they are strains I want to keep. Was waiting for the weather to get better so I could do it outside.

Thats awesome you were able to rid yourself of it. Gives me hope.

Had heard it works well. Kind of mad at my need for new strains that I took in clones and got burnt my first time.

That hydroponics store in Pittsfield tried charging me $400 for for a small one. I forget the exact size now though. I was not gonna be paying that much lol
I got my poly from bootstrapfarmer dot com. Paid $295 shipped and taxed. Got a 32x30 and had them cut an 20x30 into two 20x15 pieces for the gabled ends.

Got the 16ft bender from diygreenhouse for $80 shipped.

And the rest of it at jigglygreenhouse. This was the purlin to hoop connectors, wiggle wire and channel and just wiggle wire for connecting the top over the gabled ends. Connectors are $1.71 there and wiggle wire $1.75 per 6.5ft. $4.99 for the channel wire combo.

Cheapest I could find. Even with shipping this was $120 cheaper than bootstrap. Bootstrap were very friendly though. Great customer service. But $120 will buy me 10 fence top rails.

Good idea to do it outside. I did it indoors and my second floor reeked like rotten eggs for a couple weeks. Spray them down good, wait a few days and spray them down again, and the pm should be gone. Pm can't build up a resistance to sulphur which is why it works so well.

Curious how you blocked it from getting in your soil? Heard it leaches calcium from the soil.

Saw you liked lemon strains. Got an Ohio Lemon G im trying to keep that was part of the clone batch I got. It never got PM but was near the strain

I don't think the amount of sulphur that gets in the soil from spraying will negatively affect anything. I use gypsum anyways which is like 30% sulphur. If anything it'll help the terps. I've heard lemon g is a great strain. Bodhi has a couple crosses of it so i might have to grab them. Csi humboldt has a number of lemon tree crosses which I might get in the future. I'm just really craving a strain that reeks and tastes like lemon lol

Got some Oregon Lemons F2 seeds. I enjoy lemon terps as well.

Do you remembEr the ratios you use? Of sulphur to water?

Overwatered for sure. You can try and transplant it to a dry soil and use about 1/4 of the amount of water you did with that one. Otherwise let it be and hope it doesnt drown before the pot dries out.
The only issue is when I put my moisture detecer in it never says it's too moist. And I know the equipment works because I tested it on other more wet soils

No I just put them on my porch at night. They are usually outside, I'm debating putting them under the l.e.d.s
Last year I had my seedlings under led for 24 hours a day and then moved am outside and they did fine. I might have to re try it.

martins farm compost/loam grows some great bud. sounds like were neighbors.
I’m in Athol and use a place highly recommended based in Westminster, “Mass Natural”... Been an indoor grower for years, this will be my 1st outdoor grow (deck) with (4) strains. MMS: Prayer Pupil, Barneys Farm: Runtz Muffin, Ethos: White Wedding and DNA Genetics: Holy Grail. 100% on the germ last week of April, will be using a portable greenhouse for hardening when weather breaks right, looking at a 1st week of June for fully outdoors in final 45 gallon tan fabric pots, each sitting in a 28” dog wading pool with each pot sitting on (5) red Murphy bricks for circulation.
