I need help, I'm debating if I wanna quit growing, I keep getting hermi issues

So I'm not sure why this keeps happening to me but today I found my lemon og has nanners over alot of buds, i just chopped her down shes 3 weeks into flower. Im using fox farms ocean forest, 6.5 ph, minimal nutrients (never above 500ppm), with mars hydro lights. the temps never go above 80, i got a par meter and the lights arent above 800 uolm and there is no light leaks. so can some one explain why this is happening to me and how i can prevent it before i chop up all my plants that prolly got pollinated? this is the 3rd grow in a row that ive chopped and im about done.

The lemon OG is from DNA genetics. It was an attitude freebie. The lights go off for a full 12 hours and I have multiple layers of sealed foil around any place in the closest that could ever have any light leaks. I shined lights at the doors and vent to make sure nothing is getting in or going out. The last time this happened to me it was a purple punch mix a buddy gave me, when it hermied with in a week of it flowering he blamed my growing method when nothing should be going wrong. The plants are always 100% healthy no deficiencies, no fading, just green females that arent over heating, arent getting too much light, nor are they getting too many nutrients. Is my Ph too much at 6.5? i just sprayed down my other plants with water to kill off any pollen that lemon og might have spit out

i strongly urge you to try a different breeder...no freebies (red flag right there) or clones. Sounds like you aren't making mistakes, deep breaths and focus on success

I'd check again for any light leaks. Also make sure you don't have something in there giving them light. Like power strip lights or anything like that. My sensors had red LED's too, so I popped those out.

I wouldn't give up just yet.

I mean the breeders are really well known, i never plant anything thats not. I usually stick to In house, barneys farm, R-kiem, and exotic genetics

thats the thing i just dont have any visible. theyre basic power strips with no lights and nothing is getting in when i sat in that room for 10 mins to adjust my eyes to it

One thing i can think of is gases...do you have anything nearby like fruits, or bananas? Those gas off ethylene, idk maybe some other gas could be doing it. Paint in the closet, some big furniture with finish gasing off

Heres how I see freebies they’re generally a breeders happy little accidents. They don’t want to sell them so they give them away instead. Have you done more than just bag seed and freebie? If you’ve done other good seeds that weren't freebies and had bananas the. You have environmental issues or some sort of stress. I stress test all my ladies. I break them underwater them heavy and stress them to the point im sure they’d rather be set aflame rather then grow. If they herm out they’re trashed and only the strong survive and go on to my big commercial rooms. Clone of course not my abused sudo moms.

I totally get that. I only use freebies as fillers if my other stuff has issues. I only do main genetics i buy, no bag seed, and a few freebies if they're from a company i trust.. well, trust"ed" now. So, fuck DNA genetics, barneys (blue gelato was a bitch and had no reason to hermi), and G13 labs, they send crap freebies if its a genetic thing an not my grow. Honestly wanna cry right now lol. Ive had genetics from so many companies that never had issues in that same room so i dont know what it could be anymore
