I thought “ light bleaching “ caused white ( chloroplasts ) , albino buds and what not .

Actually the way that happens is you light damage an upper cola on a relatively healthy plant. The bud that was damaged falls victim to the conidiospores circulating in the air.
I'm sorry, that hurts. I have had that happen to me too.
