Hey guys

I was about to turn the lights to 12/12 after about 7 weeks of vegging but when I last checked my plants I noticed they all had roots coming out the bottom of there pots. I up potted about 3 weeks ago. My only reservation about not repotting and having them veg for another two weeks or so in bigger pots is height as there about 3 ft. tall and in my 1.2x1.2x2 growing tent if they double or triple in height during flowering I'm pretty fucked so was just looking for some advice.

cheers for taking the time

I think if you're really concerned about it being root bound and getting too big I would repot soon and keep it in veg for just over half a week then switch to flower. Letting the roots grow in the growth spurt veg stage leaving with more root mass for flowering .
If you want to repot and let them rest for longer you could top them a few days after transplant and have some bunny eared nugs. The stress will slow the growth spurt but I'm not sure how it will effect the bud development or creation of a hermie... But it's an idea

cloth or plastic pots? But either way you’ll be fine train them and carry on.

Alright thanks for the advice boys. They're in plastic pots I got them as clones from a friend one was lst and topped and the other two were topped so was thinking of doing a scrog. Do you think it would be better putting the net down before the transplant to minimize stress?

Aim for a meter high, that means growing a photo in a 15liter pot (Flexitub)

I germ in a 650ml pot then often potup to a 15 liter and leave it at that
or depending on the season potup all trhe way to 75 liters
which is too heavy with an expected height of 3-3.4m/ 10-12ft

once you hit 12x12 depending on strain you can add 300-500mm at best but most its 150mm in a 15 liter pot

Just for a bit of info I left out I just got 38l fabric pots as it said from what I read to up pot it to twice to three times the size of the previous pot when transplanting and there currently in plastic pots should I still stick with the 15 Liter?. Yeah I'd be using chicken wire for the netting to tie them down to and all of the branches can be bent over :)
