Any freakshow growers around? What sort of phenotypes have you had?

That was my main question- if the final product is anything special. I can see it having a use for guerilla grows but, other than that, if the smoke isn't up to snuff, what's the point?

Just growing for fun and having some inconspicuous ones around the yard doesn’t hurt.
I read a couple reports that it had a euphoric but clarifying effect with one person comparing to microdosing ‘shrooms. Either way it won’t hurt me to grow it, and if it gas some fun phenos or effects I can work with it.
It’s not like cannabis got to be so wonderfully diverse in it’s effects and potency without some guidance.
Bottom line is I think it’s hella cool Shapeshifter worked on stabilizing the genetics to produce that leaf structure, and now it’s up to whomever to work on the other details. I’m sure there are some other advantages to the leaf structure besides camouflage, too, and I’ve found it to be a hardy plant where I live.
Will update if my smoke is any good

I’ve taken a-plenty and can understand the the sometimes feeling of euphoria but also with clarity- like everything is in place and working perfectly. Have also felt the “body-drunk/mind-alert” feeling off of shrooms.
I get the euphoric clarity with good sativas.
To each there own. I’m happy.

Just for farts and giggles I have a Freakshow growing and now just a week into flowering. Tough plant to sex out until it actually throws out some pistils.

I noticed the price of Freakshow seeds on DCSE has doubled in price now. It was $100 for 10 fem/20reg. Now its $200 for the same thing. I would have gotten a pack of regs to try at 20/$100 but $200 is way too much. Not worth it for me. They look interesting and the thot of growing them in the open is appealing tho.

As my Freakshow is flowering, I see that the leaves are getting thinner in width and some with glistening trichomes. The scent is fabulous and like a pure sativa of yore. Love it.

I feel like the phenos I have seen here are pretty consistent. I’m going to pop some of the fem seeds I made, this week. Freakshow definitely has an interesting profile in terms of smell and large number of pistils compared to other grows.

Stuck a clone in the ground, just to see what she'll do, over 5ft tall and getting ready for flower mode now.

Just 2 more weeks to go, I think. We'll see. I am waiting for the calyxs to swell. So far mostly clear trichomes.

That is quite the bushy plant there. I am most curious on the branching structure and future bud support. Do you have typical branches or are they somewhat wispy but many of them to include side branches off of side branches?
I ask as the pheno that I grew indoors has wispy branches that do not support the weight of the buds. I can tie up the main branches but the side branches droop. It is not the light per se as other strains do fine and grow "normal".

Yeah, she's a crazy bush, definitely will need support, I had to use some yo-yos inside running her. Gonna need some extra stakes or trellis outdoor.

I strip all but 3 nodes and remove all side branching then twist and snap the stems to strengthen them. AKA Super cropping

Not shitty genetics, he's created a full 90% sativa that flowers in 5-7 weeks and is almost impervious to drought, pests, heat, mildew and requires very little nutes. He used the best sativa strains on earth to create the strain and has now released a 50/50 hybrid called Supafreak that flowers in 5 weeks, is more potent and has even stronger and more unique broad range of terpenes. Cookies is the shit show.

He only selected from the best strains that carried the mutation dominant. Has nothing to do with the genetics. It's a superficial leaf mutation. Which is why it is now bx7 and packs of 10 regs go for 150$

This is Supafreak, the dude us a fucking master breeder and pheno hunter. The stuff smokes as good as any quality potent strain but it's dripping with terps that you never see together in one strain
