Afganistan Collapse

Actually, Afghanistan did turn to the US and in its own way invited us in.
Really The Taliban who ruled Afghanistan asked you to invade them? C'mon...

Love the name of the invasion. Operation Enduring freedom...haha.

"US President George W. Bush demanded that the Taliban hand over Osama bin Laden and expel al-Qaeda; bin Laden had already been wanted by the FBI since 1998. The Taliban declined to extradite him unless given what they deemed convincing evidence of his involvement in the 9/11 attacks,[2] and ignored demands to shut down terrorist bases and hand over other terrorist suspects apart from bin Laden. The request was dismissed by the US as a meaningless delaying tactic, and it launched Operation Enduring Freedom on October 7, 2001, with the United Kingdom. The two were later joined by other forces, including the Northern Alliance troops on the ground.[3][4] The US and its allies rapidly drove the Taliban from power by December 17, 2001, and built military bases near major cities across the country. Most al-Qaeda and Taliban members were not captured, escaping to neighboring Pakistan or retreating to rural or remote mountainous regions during the Battle of Tora Bora. "

It is almost like Trump planned for this because he knew he would lose and needed to tank our response.
i've been thinking about that angle too.

feb 2020? i don't think he knew he was losing yet. so him and the gang were setting themselves up for failure?? don't think so.

i think pompeo, miller, kushner and him knew the taliban would do this and then they would start a war with them. they love killing the brown people. and it helps the saudis be a bit less wary of afghanistan. and israelis too.

I was more thinking of Trump's foreign advisor wanting to make sure that we were as weakened as possible before they lost their puppet.

And if Trump won he would be able to go back on his agreement or go forward depending on what he thought he had most to gain from.

also a good angle. i'm not sure.

either way, who cares? i'm glad we're out of there finally. we should leave sovereign nations alone. we got enough problems here to deal with.

I, for one, would like to spend the trillion dollars a year the state department gets for overseas missions on some missions here at home.
Same for the US military. Another trillion dollars a year for domestic tranquility.

How about solving world hunger and clean potable water for the citizens of the world. Americans would even become liked again maybe.

Edit: trouble is of cause that America will make the money depend on stuff- like no Abortions and every village must have an evangelistic church..

Its already invisible to the American public, so why not? We knew for many years that spending a "little" now reaps great rewards later
