Hey newbies keeping a nice pristine grow space is very important take it from me I just harvested today and pulled out my plants the place was filthy thank God no bugs or mold but it very easily could have been. I learned lesson for next time especially if you have pets clean the fans outside of the grow area I would post a pic of the mess but I am too embarrassed here is the harvestIMG_20210830_224332793.jpgIMG_20210830_231052532.jpgIMG_20210830_224400126.jpgIMG_20210830_231011927.jpg

i agree but even if they dont go in the hair still travels one day i will get a place with a sallyport like in jail on door opens the other closes or like the space station where they come in from spacewalking lol
No pets are allowed in my room where my areas are, and the dog isn't even allowed upstairs at all. I keep the hair off me, and make my wife take her clothes off, or at least lint roll herself really good before she goes in. And I still find a stray hair every one in awhile.

I love my animals, but not their hair on my buds. Plus they can bring in pests too.

i agree 100% during flower they get imbedded thats why i wash the buds plus hanging them wet gives a longer dry IMO

I learned the hard way to put on a clean shirt before doing anything with budding plants.

Couldn’t figure out why I kept finding chihuahua hairs in them when the dogs were never in there. Then one day I watched one float down off my shoulder into the canopy.

i think cat hairs travel easier they are lighter and under a loupe i see the stripes lol I am about to scope one of my washed buds now and check the trichs and for hair

Not a pro, but I don’t like messing with that more than once.. Trim it all so ur done with it and don’t touch it again under after it’s dried then cured..
My last indoor got fried bc of some mistakes on my end so I had to deal with some crispy sugar leafs.
I got a dehumidifier in my tent for flower and drying, and it was hands down one of the best investments on equipment I’ve made. Was able to dry for 14+ days! My tent with lights out in the basement was like 85 RH lol! So was able to dial that back nicely with the dehumidifier.
Buds were soft and sticky and the stems had that perfect crack.
