Notice your own comment about Canadian outdoor.Well welcome!
You see you are in the Canadian forum. Many folks here in Canada thought like you before it was legalized. Not me.
The story is way too long and big to catch you up. all I've said is quite true and FACT.
We have proven that here. How it goes in your country country I will not even attempt to say.
FACTS
Outdoor in Canada is almost no sale.
Greenhouse in Canada has no demand....only useful in stores that don't let you see or smell....bought once.....rarely twice.
Why would anyone here buy outdoor when they can grow 4 outdoor plants legally?
Canada has a terrible climate for outdoor cannabis. It was 7c the other night here.
We are not the southern States or Mexico. Outdoor from those places might be great...but here it's not the best. some can be okay. But it rarely compares to indoor. where the demand is.
You'll see if you ever legalize like we did with personal grow right .
Been there...done and seen that.
Let me pause...I love Canada, Canadians, our bros and sisters and we are all on the same team. We are discussing in your Canadian thread, and mean no disrespect to you personally or your knowledge. We only want to discuss things, not be right or wrong.
Now...that comment about outdoor. That is why you aren't understanding my point.
In the USA, we have so much farmland we pay farmers not to farm it. It is the highest quality in the world. If you havent had the pleasure of visiting California or Hawaii, I highly encourage you to do so. That is the pinnacle of outdoor cannabis growing. The legends of a Humboldt County, Hawaiian mountain grows are real. Generations of families have made huge fortunes mastering outdoor grows. Every pic you saw in High Times came from there back in the day.
The midwest, from Iowa to Minnesota to Wisconsin, through Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, Tennessee have all produced outdoor buds that are better than any indoor I have ever seen. Why? How? Because for decades growers have honed their skills in the sun and become experts at farming cannabis.
They cannot - yet - grow and sell it between states. They cannot sell it to other countries. Banks and the financial system are very hesitant to play because it is not Federally legal.
Everything you say about Canada is absolutely true, no doubt. We wouldnt know. But understand...again you and I and the rest here are on the same team.
I would buy bud grown in Humboldt County all day, every day, instead of my own, if it were cheap enough and easy to get. They have better growers better weather, they have mountain sides and valleys. That is the "high end" market.
The lazy sheep will gladly buy Marlboro Greens as soon as they are available. Why? Because that's how people operate, many dont think of the best vs just getting high i.e
A pack of $20 cannabis cigs sounds good to many.
For many like some Canadians and Euros that mix cannabis and tobacco...it will be premixed and ready to go in cig form.
I have no doubt our indoor growers are no better or worse than Canada's or any other country. But outdoor we are unbelievable imo.
