I hope you don't default this year. If you move the people up beccause it is too hot, then the ones that have done useful work, like producing physical goods, will have to move with them also. Candt get nothing out of the factory without people. Then when you move the people up, you need them do something. Unless you want to prove the Republicans right and have a welfare state. But it really will be the multinationals that would be moving their factories, whatever is good for them.
Default? The U.S.? You'd better hope that never happens.

Spoken like someone that doesn't understand economics and pretends like the national debt is like personal debt.

Who buys most of the USA debt now????
Japan is the largest holder of U.S. debt, with $1.266 trillion in Treasury holdings as of April 2020. This is the highest level of debt owned by Japan in several years, beating out China as the largest holder of U.S. debt. 2 The increase in Japan's holdings is its largest since 2013.

Fucking slant eyes, they're gonna own us :)
Oh, they already do don't they!!!!
That's fucking hysterical to me.
Soon we'll be selling shit products over there they like they did to us.
It seemed to work, didn't it.
They, China specifically, helped destroy the American Middle Class, or was it just good old fashioned American Capitalism (greed?) that did that?
I'm not sure
I guess/it seems we did it to ourselves

But who is NOW buying US debt?

One is the Fed at $80B a month.

Who owns the FED?
Oh is this where you snowflake into some racist shit about 'the jews'?

Because that is bullshit.

The Federal reserve system is a quasi government institution that was designed because businesses don't trust politicians (which was shown to be the right move with Trump's idiocy trying to make the fed do what he wanted), and the citizens don't trust the government nor the businesses.

So at the end of the day the federal reserve system is owned by American people and funded by the banks/businesses and staffed/overseen by the government.

It's a simple question. Hint it is not the USA.
lmao what is 'the USA' in your mind then?
