If I remember correctly, raising the minimum wage Nationally, to barely a livable/sustainable sum, $15 an hour was voted down by the Republicans, with 1 supposed Democrat, Sen. Senema from Arizona, agreeing.

Im not sure which conservative Democrats joined with the 50 Republicans to kill this, but Biden did pass an Executive Order to mandate $15 for federal workers.

I am seeing prices for everything surge like it’s 1972. If the accountants are honest, the last 12 months have seen cost of living up at least 10%.
